I share your concern over layer-2 projects at the moment. Its a real shame because so many layer-2 projects feel like a very important part of Hive - however the single person point of failure is just too big a risk. Its happened on quite a few projects now which is a real shame. Having some form of back-up should be a key requirement for such projects, but I guessing itself thats difficult to organise too, especially the more complicated the project is.
Its tough times indeed.

Yeah, layer-2 is feeling a bit shaky lately, and you're right, some of these projects do feel like important aspects of our Blockchain, so to see them disappear is very unnerving, and also sad, indeed. Having only one individual running a project is a huge point of failure, and pretty much guarantees that it will not endure for long. Yep, so many projects have been going down for the count lately, which intensely highlights the necessity of having a solid team, with a solid plan, and solid communication, to man the ship. That's part of the rub, the more complex a project (or anything) is, the more fragile it is as well. It's interesting that layer 2 is taking such a beating as the crypto market rises.
