Minting a Whole Bunch of NFTs on HiveList Marketplace 7x7x7

After my first experience with minting and selling an NFT has been so successful, I decided to take a full-on head dive into it. At first, when I posted the Autumn Nutshell, I didn't even think it would go anywhere. That's why I didn't bother minting more than one edition. But when @city-of-berlin bought it from me, there was no doubt it my mind.

Granted, she is probably just as interested in generating more traffic on HiveList's NFT Marketplace for her proof of reshare NFTs. (Get a limited edition NFT of hers in exchange for resharing one of her posts... which reminds me: Have I reshared any @city-of-berlin posts lately...? Lemme do that quickly!) Also the 1000 LIST price (close to a dollar / euro) I asked for the image was probably quite reasonable. Still, my strong appreciation goes out to her for it, because now it got me into minting and selling a much larger quantity of my photos as NFTs. Well, let's see if anyone will be interested in buying them.

Going About Mass Minting

I imagined it would be a matter of minutes, but then I ended up spending the better part of a rainy afternoon minting my NFTs. It might have been due to the sheer mass of them, since minting just one is fairly fast. But I decided to create seven categories with seven images each, and mint seven editions of each one. Then I put them all up for sale, for the same time-tested amount of 1000 LIST per image. This way I also got to use up the 1k LIST I was paid for my Autumn Nutshell, since minting each image cost me 32 LIST (20 for the first one, then 2 for each subsequent six). In the end I even had to get another 500 LIST to finish my set.

The pics are from all across the board. Some are fairly recent, others quite old. Some feature animals, landscapes, old trucks, and travel pics from Budapest or Japan. Some look surprisingly amazing for their age (you'll notice, 15 years ago they tended to have fewer pixels). In others it looks like the thumbnail doesn't do them any justice. Most interestingly, some images I definetely know that I have minted and put up for sale... but they simply don't appear in the Market menu. But then I see them under Newly Minted when I click on Home. So I guess they're there, somewhere. After all, I know I paid for them.

Everybody Visit the NFT Marketplace!!!

Now that I have flooded the market with my photos, it's up to you all to come and browse through them, and maybe even buy something. But even if nobody comes around, I can still lean back and relax, knowing that I have done something to generate trafic for the site. Because, as you might have guessed it, I also have an ulterior motive: Maybe, hopefully someone will be interested in buying this fine leather bag from me. There is not much time left, as I am leaving Germany by the end of the month, and given the challenging shipping services in Mexico, I will probably take the bag from the market.

As for my NFT images, however, I can promise that they will remain up, until someone buys them. And since there are so many of them, I can image there will be some left from each one for quite some time.
