At the moment of writing I sit down with this view. As you can imagine, there is a lot of noice. Behind my back hundreds of people are walking by and in front of me hundreds of cars are passing as well. Together with the sound of some scooters, some music of people, an ambulance, etc. I would be instantly dead.

So, if lethal sound would suddenly start, I would be dead. If it would already be the standard, I would probably not experience any peoblem. Although I thi k life would be difficult. Yes, people can stop talking, just using signs / typed communication. But you can't take away sound from everyday life. Yes, electric cars make nearly no noise. But what if a car crashes, even a slight crash would cause people to die. The same would happen if you drop a plate, aglass or some cutlery.
I think using sign language wouldn't be the real problem for society. I think accidental sou ds would kill whole humanity rather fast.
