Maze Against Time

This game, like any other, aims to establish a winner, and the one who manages to complete the challenge in less time wins.

The game is simple and only requires a pen, sheets of paper, and a stopwatch.

Each round, a player needs to draw a maze on a sheet, with an entrance and an exit. They have exactly 3 minutes to do this. If they finish drawing the maze in less than 3 minutes, that extra time will be a benefit.

Once the maze is ready, it will be the next player's turn. They have to pass through the drawing, tracing the paper along the way and try to find the exit as quickly as possible. They have 2 minutes to solve the challenge.

If they succeed, they will earn 3 points. If not, the player who created the map will earn 3 points to be multiplied by the remaining time.

Examples:

  • When the player solves the maze, the remaining time will be multiplied by 3.

Ed finished the challenge in 1 minute and 20 seconds. That means, he had 40 seconds left.

40 x 3 = 120

Ed scored 120 points.

  • The maze owner created it in 2 minutes, so they have 60 seconds left, which will be multiplied by 3 if the challenging player cannot find the exit.

So, the maze owner will have earned:

3 x 60 = 180 points

Several people can play, and the one who earns the most points wins.

Time is an important factor since it will be the point multiplier. Therefore, those who are more efficient in less time will have a better chance of winning Maze Against Time!
