Day 9 of LUT Squats Challenge

avatar

I been out all day today and by the time I got home it was nearly 10pm. But that didn't stop me from doing my sqauts challenge for the day. I took things slowly, starting with a set of 60, followed by a very brief 30 second break to finish off the remaining 40 squats and called it a day. No increase in my over achievement today as I was rather tired from being out all day.

Here's my progress so far

Even doing it when you get home late — that's fantastic commitment. Keep up the amazing job!

Come on, come on... don't slow down. Have the pains decreased? You are "a little bit" justified because you were tired hahahaha....

Hello, everyone!

Today, I started my day way earlier... and it looks like it the magic that I needed from the beginning.

As many of you already know, I have three different muscular groups schemes. And just like three days ago, this morning was the muscular training for the inferior part of my body! A.K.A. = Burning legs and Bum!

So, the other day, I have contabilize the squats in the exercises that I've made.

Today, since I've started the training way earlier, I arrived with plenty of time, and with my spirit calm an joyful! Ahahah

So let me resume my training of this morning:

Started with squats with Scout Bar in the shoulders, I went off with only the weight of the bar (20 kg), then 5kg each side (30 kg total), 10kg, 15k, and 20 kg (60 kg in total), and i achieve it between 12 reps ant 8 reps. In the meanwhile, between series, I have done sets of simple squats (20 reps each)... ;)

Then I passed to the Super Hack Squat machine! Let's go!!!! And made 3 sets of 12 reps (1st to 3rd serie), and 8 reps in the last serie with 20kg on each side: 40 kg in total (summing to the weight of the machine... and believe me that it was hard!!!) 😰

Thank God that I brought my "inspirational" towel from the Portuguese Army- BTW: It was a gift, I've never done military service... I was very chubby when I was 20 yo😅

After this hard one, went to Leg Extension... and three more set of 20 squats between series in this exercise, that makes 60!

Prone Leg Curl with 4 sets of 12 reps, and you guessed 3 more 20 reps squats -> 60!

Seated Leg Curl and between more 60! Ahahah I was on FIRE!

And 60 more in the between the abdominal crunches!

Squat Challenge GOAL: 3000!

Day 6: 150 Squats
Day 7: 240 Squats
Day 8: 200 Squats
Day 9: 120 Squats
Day 10: 304 Squats!
Total: 1014 Squats.... To go: 1986!

(and to spice things up, I share with you a music from 1986 Ahahah I hope you like it! Ahaha

)

Hope to see you here tomorrow!

Let's keep this challenge going, guys!

I'm doing the 100 Squats per day Challenge with @livinguktaiwan, @pardinus, and @dbooster to raise funds for Cancer Research. We are in this fight together!

And if you want to donate, send HIVE/HBD directly to @livinguktaiwan and she will convert it to fiat and donate it herself.

This is crazy, you really are on fire!!! It's fantastic!!

The sight of those equipment is giving me shudders as I have a pain in my shoulder at the moment, so the squatschallenge is perfect for me as I don't have to use the top half of my body.

Let's keep going!!!

That is fantastic. Way to go!

I need to get back into some kind of resistance training. It's been too long and I know it actually becomes more critical to keep those muscles working as we get older, making it important for me to get back into it.
