Terrorists were in a secret laboratory working on a biological weapon, an accident happened, an unexpected fire caused a gigantic explosion when it came into contact with the chemicals in the place, no one survived. The gas cylinders being produced in the chambers were damaged and the gas was released into the atmosphere. Over time, air currents caused this product to travel across the planet.

As the days went by, people began to die for no reason at all. Dozens, hundreds and thousands of people died every day and, after around 50% of humanity had perished, the real problem was discovered: sound!

The biological weapon affected humans in a very unexpected way, sound became humanity's greatest enemy, noise, however simple it may be, became lethal. The world went into crisis and the population was falling every minute. How can we inform people of the danger if we cannot use sound? Leaflets, newspapers and papers were spread across the planet.

The population collapsed, 90% of humans disappeared in the face of this evil, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, the news finally reached all the survivors and now everyone knows about the problem and is looking for ways to survive.

The world was practically deserted, cities were reduced to villages, everyone wanted to live in isolation, the fear of hearing any noise was real and clear. Items that in the past were used by few have become common accessories for humanity: ear protectors to stay alive and paper and pencils for communication. Sign language was an alternative for some.

Humans are getting smaller every day as it has become difficult to have children and take care of them properly. Childbirth was a big problem, techniques and accessories were developed for the birth of new babies, crying at birth was a big challenge to be resolved and overcome. Life has become difficult, but it is still possible to survive.
