My Actifit RC: August 12th 23 - The departure for the long bridge of August - IAAC 431
A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.
Saturday was also marked by a reinforcement of the anticyclone of the Azores in the skies of the Italian peninsula. Temperatures remain slightly below the average of the last 20 years and the night is characterized by a pleasant temperature range.
Yesterday, after lunch, I left in the direction of my sister’s beach house for the long bridge of August. In the picture I’m going to take the subway 2 from Piazza Garibaldi to get to the connection of the buses of the brand new company Air Campania that depart towards the province of Caserta.
Arrived in Pozzuoli, with all my luggage, I wait for the bus under the subway bridge that was an optional stop and wait for the arrival of the vehicle for about three quarters of an hour.
In the meantime I helped a guy from Bangladesh to understand how to juggle with the local public transport since he had arrived in Italy for a couple of days.
Taking the bus and arrived at the hotel of Castel Volturno "The Grove" I got off at the previous stop to see if it was less than the stop that I usually use from the house to the sea but the choice was not happy because instead of 1 km on foot I had to do 2.
Not even time to put down the luggage that I took the costume and towel and I left for the beach doing crossing shortcut in the woods that separates the cottage from the free beach.
Place the towel between an air battle between seagulls and two beach soccer pitches I could enjoy a little rough sea and I did a nice bath in clean water but unexpectedly very cool.
The evening sky was rather clear and blue and from the sand of glimpsed very well the silhouettes of Procida and Ischia along the northern coast of the Gulf of Naples.
After the bath and after taking a nice dose of sunlight to improve the coloring of my bleached skin I mounted slippers to make a grueling walk along the coast.
As the sun set before my eyes I celebrated stage number 431 of my personal iamalivechallenge and I can happily declare that I am Alive and ready for this adventure on the coasts of the Domitio coast.
