Man, that sucks. I am sorry you are dealing with that. My wife feels the same way about other things if it makes you feel better, so I don't think you are alone in feeling you have bad luck. We hit that deer right after we got her new car plus some other stuff and she was ready to throw her hands up. Stuff just happens. It doesn't feel like it when it is happening, but I've been told the world doesn't revolve around me.

Yeah, I feel like we do our due diligence, and still get screwed over. Other people we know don't seem to get these kinds of issues, even though they have much the same stuff.
My wife tells me the same.
They probably have their own issues, they just aren't as vocal about it. It's pretty easy for people to share their successes, but it takes a lot of character to share your mistakes as well.
