Week 175 : My reality and my dream of Ideal Weekend
Greetings my dear friends of Weekend Experiences, with the coming of you I am going to try to talk to you about the first two topics I hope I can manage to convey my feelings to you.
A few days ago galenkp commented that the year had gone by quickly and that's also my perception, that's how fast life goes by and it makes me remember how eagerly I waited for the weekends in my younger days to walk with my friends and especially to go to parties.
When I had my children the walks with them was my biggest prize, their enjoyment and joy multiplied in me.
They were growing up and there was nothing better than sharing a family lunch, a walk, watching a movie or just talking.
Today, like many of the Cuban families, the emigration came to my home, and my nest is empty. It's my husband and I. Hence, if I could, what I would enjoy most right now is having the family gathered, one day at home or in the place they choose, they love the beach and I am still fascinated by watching them laugh, also playing with my grandchildren. For now I can only have my husband's eldest daughter with her three children, they make my life happy, but they live somewhat far away and with the transport situation these encounters have distanced themselves..
So now my autumn has arrived, I really enjoy sharing with my husband, who is my partner of almost 25 years, both a special meal or a movie and an outing that we can think of.
But we both love to share with friends and precisely those meetings at home or the walks that we organize, constitute a great stimulus, the same thing we play dominoes, that we share a coffee or we go on an excursion, Ahhh we keep dancing even if later our bones hurt and we have to use minty ointment.🤣🤣

Having an empty nest seems so sad because you really miss your family, your kids and your grand kids. But I like how you and your husband spend and enjoy time together.
Hopefully one day your family will reunite again and see each other.

The kids now become an adult that having a quality time with them is hard because they also have their own life now. That's the reality of a parents no. Sometimes it's hard to gather them all. But once you all complete, the happiness is so much lioe you are the happiest in the world. Goos thing eveb with just you and your husband, you still fins joy in everything you do ( ◜‿◝ )♡
