Thanks for the reminder!! <3

by the way, we are at 19:00 GMT because of 21:00 CEST. That is S for summer time, not to mix with S for standard time in other regions during winter (they have D instead of S for daylight savings time). (And that's a whole lot of crappy standards. Just imagine changing your calendar completely, as of what I've been doing.)

Looking forward to tomorrow's tournament and hope to be there on time. Lichess will count down the right time. I'll take it from there!

Who's idea was it to do 3 2 for chess 960 out of curiosity? Because it's honestly a terrible way to play chess. 960 takes quite a bit each position to study to even understand it (see all of the top GM world events where they get 10 minutes before the games and often still are confused) so why have a such a fast time control? Like it's essentially just sloppy chess. But I guess to each their own. I'd highly recommend at least 15 minutes a side for any 960 style tournaments. Perhaps correspondence would even be better.

You are right, it is faster for sure but people are getting use to it. More time means less games in 1 hour tournament lets say. There are 3 + 1 weekly chess960 tournament for titled players already. Any blitz mode may not be helpful for your chess no matter variant. So it may be fun for now. Nothing bad in trying. Blunders are part of game as well
