ASEAN Hive Weekly Delegator Raffle ποΈ & Community Update π° Week #3
Greetings ASEAN Hivers, @JustinParke here with a new weekly post featuring a raffle for our delegators and a chance to provide any community updates.
What's New In ASEAN Hive This Week?
Β Β Β Not much is new this week to share with you all. The weekly #Engrish challenge is not getting the participation I hoped it would receive, so I am not sure whether or not to keep it going. I have previously tried a weekly photography challenge which also failed to generate participation, so if any of you have ideas for a weekly challenge that you think would be successful, please let me know in the comments.
Β Β Β There were no sponsors for the raffle this week other than myself, so it's just the standard 2 HIVE for now. The focus has always been on organically growing our curation power, so committing too much liquid HIVE to the weekly raffle will slow that process.
Β Β Β I thank you all for constantly keeping this community supplied with original quality content. There always seems to be some new faces joining us each week, and I'm quite happy with the pace of our organic growth. We may even see our voting power reach $1.00, all without the support of any whales.

Β Β Β Every Saturday I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you Hivers (except @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov).
Β Β Β This week's total delegation (minus ASEAN team members' delegations) was 9,176 HP, so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winner," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
Β Β Β The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way of rewarding supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

Sorry man, I should have tried harder. I think this has a lot to do with the fact that I am not able to get around very much these days and also Vietnam does pretty well with the English on signs at least. I have a couple saved up and will keep my eyes open for the next one.

ENGAGEtokens.Some things just never pick up steam no matter how good the idea is. I am still torn with turning it into a post whenever thing or a proper weekly challenge with prizes. I will revamp it soon, thanks for letting me know there is still interest. If I was still in Cambodia, there would be so much #Engrish to share each week.
I have a lot of #Engrish on another hard drive, but it's nearly dead, so I'm awaiting a new SSD to get my files into a safer and more accessible place.
