MY REVIEW OF VIBES WEEK 33

Vibes week 33 was another moment of epic music by a good number of artists, I must say it was something I was looking forward to and even participated in because I found it interesting. The only thing I missed out on was forgetting there was a theme for the week and did an english solo instead lol. It felt embarrassing for me especially after putting in all the work only to discover that I had missed the theme. I guess I just wanted to sing that song at the end of the day lol. However, this review isn’t about me but about @jesus-son featuring @jessicaossom, @blessing.simeon and @stefanova.

I must say the song was really thrilling to watch. Especially when @blessing.simeon started singing, picking up from where @jessicaossom left off. I’ve always known Jessica to be an artist that understands her part really well, and I must confess when I heard the song start I was wondering who was going to sing the next part because I know that song very well and I wouldn’t try to sing it solo because of the variation in parts and pitches. Well I guess it’s because I’m not as refined as them lol but I must commend @jesus-son for putting together those wonderful trio to sing a mix that blended very well.

The song was going beautifully well, and when @stefanova came in with his part, it was more like that much needed icing on the cake. The way he carried it and switched into a native dialect was really commendable as truth be told I wasn’t expecting that at all. Overall The three artists featured by @jesus-son gave me different doses of things I didn't expect. There was even one part where Jessica did a soft modulation when she sang her verse for the second time. That modulation I must confess was so on point because it kinda made her sing comfortably in her part while also giving @blessing.simeon a good pickup space.

I will give this entry an 8/10 because the voices and energy were really good. If only they did this physically together it would have been more of a blast, but then I understand distance can be a barrier when it comes to these things. I wish I would have an opportunity to do a cover with any of them someday, I can only but imagine the level of hard work that was put in to deliver this piece successfully. When I see collaborations like this, I know the work and time it took to create it, and I must say, it’s worth the effort. I see they are also among the nominees, and I’m rooting for them to win.
