Fan Art Forest female

Holo!! Holozing Community!!

Hello from the other side of the screen. Today I want to show you what's new that I've created , I've done a fan art inspired by the Forest Healer character and one of the recently released Infurno variants by @holozing. You can check them out here.

holo.jpg

This was a completely new and different experiment for me because I've never tried doing the hair like this before. Despite that, I think the final result is cool, and I'm happy with it.

With the characters selected to work on, I got down to business. Actually, I had another idea for these guys, but that'll have to wait for later. Don't worry, you'll see that one too.

Forest Healer

That version of Infurno is very pleasant out of all of his, that's my favorite. Though I wasn't going for the idea I had in mind, I wanted to add a bit of those colors to the girl's hair. I didn't want to set it on fire, but I did want the colors, well, plus adding the green.

Infurno as Radiant HoloMax 🔥🔵

I've made a video of this drawing, but when I have time, I'll start editing it. Meanwhile, I've left a couple of steps in images.

Here are some pics of the process

2.jpg

I didn't sketch for this drawing, I actually started like many other times where I give shape to a blank slate until it ends up as a drawing. I was working on it and when I was happy, at least with something decent, I moved forward.

-.-

Just like before, I made a blank slate with a flat color, actually it was a different color, outlining the shape of the hair, and then with layer locking, I just gave volume to what was inside, and of course, I changed the color to this green base.

-.-

I was happy with the face and the hair, but there were things left to do, so I set out to complete the character's outfit, using the same old story of a blank slate. One thing that was different in this drawing is that I used multiple layers, separating things to keep everything organized since I was going to edit some stuff.

-.-

I've never done this hair experiment before, so after several tries and errors, this one turned out the way I liked it, so I left it like that to improve later. By the way, the clothes are similar to the original character's.

-.-

I've added some small details and finished the jacket. Also, I made an adjustment to the drawing size, which you might not have noticed because I edited the previous steps. I worked a bit more on the hair.

-.-

Those lines on the girl's forehead in the previous step and this one were for making the branch tiara she wears on her head. I wanted to make it somewhat different, so to remember to make it, I placed those lines there. I worked on the eyes and also on the clothes, where I made a small modification.

-.-

I made some regular adjustments like lights, highlights, intensity, and added the tiara after all those modifications. After detailing and making those adjustments, I considered this portrait finished.

Thank you very much for taking the time to view my work.

This is incredible. It's amazing to watch you build up the neck/chest/collar just to cover them with clothes. But the extra work shows through in how real/natural the end result is.

Oh yes it's true, I usually do that a lot 😂. Hmm The drawing I did before this one was more because I made the complete body although it has clothes at the end 😸.

Thank you very much for noticing what I do and for appreciating it, it makes me happy that you saw that 🤩

Thank you so much! That's not bad, I started with pencil later when I felt comfortable, with colors and other materials, little by little.

The pencil is a great tool, enjoy it and if later u have access to a digitizing tablet, u will put the knowledge you have already learned into digital art and you will learn more things too 🤩🤩
