Week 234 - Am I Book Person or Movie Person?

Hi everyone. Hope you all are well as always.

Ladies... Nice to meet you again with this beautiful weekly prompt. As usual, I want to express what relates to me. If it’s about books or movies, am I a book person or a movie person? I am either! However, if the question is changed to which comes first, book person or movie person, I will definitely be book person first.

Yup, I am more used to books because the world of books is more interesting. Maybe I first watched movies that were shown on television—because there were no cinemas in my area, but once I got acquainted with the world of books, I thought I couldn’t live without them. I used to like fictional stories, and now my reading is starting to vary, although it took a long time.

Buku memiliki pengetahuan yang lebih luas. aku menyukai gaya bercerita penulis yang bisa membuatku betah untuk membacanya. Jika kau pernah mendengar istilah buku adalah jendela dunia? Yup, sebelum adanya sistem digitalisasi, vlog, or anything online, buku adalah tempat kita semua mencari pengetahuan. Dan secara naluri, aku lebih percaya dengan apapun yang tertulis di buku. Mungkin ini tampak tak related, tapi ya, aku harus menyampaikan bahwa aku more book person than movie person.

I am somewhere in-between
I love interesting books and interesting movies but I find myself tilting more to the movies cause I can watch the scene, the organizations, plots and everything which I can only imagine while reading.
Being a book person is equally a great quality.
It definitely helps in writing your own stuff too.

Hi @hiddenshadows Yup, we love doing both between reading and watching. Watching can triggred us to writing when we faced writer's block.

Just like you, I am pretty much in-between too. I think books and movies are inseparables. They complement one another though I get it if someone is leaning one more to the other.

I'm also kind of in between being a book person and a movie... but if I'm to really pick one, I'll pick books over movies 🎬
