This handsome male Sparrow took up residence in the birdhouse next to my little pond.
I put cat hair out on the branches for the birds to use for their nests. He is looking around for more hair.
If you look carefully, you can see him gathering up a clump in his beak.
After he takes it into the house, the female goes in to work her magic lining the nest. A new batch of babies are about to be born now that the weather is warming up. All the birds have been busy building new nests for this year.
