Christmas-scented breakfast

Good evening, friends!

Today, when I went to meet a group of friends for breakfast in a residential area, I was surprised. I wasn't expecting a gourmet coffee shop to appear in the center of a residential area of the municipality... You can see the involvement. It's not that the area is completely out of place, as this is an area of upper-middle class housing. This makes them more likely to make a financial return in the short to medium term.

We had two options (even though today was a national holiday (Immaculate Conception), the café wasn't full), with the possibility of staying inside or on the covered terrace.

Just look at this beautifully decorated window... In fact, the gourmet café in this location fits like a glove!

And the window display inside the establishment is sure to leave any foodie with their tongue hanging out.... and drooling!

On the terrace, we managed to get two tables together and sit very close to the street... feeling the light breeze of the excellent sunny morning.

They brought the menu, which had a personalized front page according to the pre-Christmas season we're experiencing...

My friends opted for either scrambled eggs or toast with a long American-style coffee and a detox juice with red berries.

For me, I ended up choosing the scrambled eggs with toast on seeded bread

Look at how delicious these scrambled eggs look... so good I'm almost drooling! 🤤

And the seed bun, which was delicately spread with vegetable butter... Just right. Although for me, after an 8.5km walk, it would have been better if it had been a bit bigger! Ahahah

When I was younger, in college, I know that dinners were a must... and I loved eating a good steak. Nowadays, I settle for a salad and soup... And breakfasts are where I most enjoy restoring my energies...
