Beer Memoirs.

Hello Beer Community!

It is that day when responsibilities take a back seat and relaxation is in the driver's seat. And what better way to kick back and savor the weekend vibes than with a frosty Legend beer? Buckle up as I'm about to share with you the brew-tiful story behind this beer. Beer has played a significant role at different stages in my life and I would be highlighting some of the interesting ones.

I've known beers, their prices and bottle aesthetics right from when I was way younger. This is because I was the little girl who always ran to get some beer for the impromptu visitor who came around. It was always fun going to the beer parlour at the time because I had a little friend in that shop. I would spend like twenty minutes conversing with my friend in the shop, totally forgetting the visitors at home.

Fast forward to a few years later, it felt like a carnival around my house because different people decided to open beer parlours all around. I cannot walk for a minute without coming in contact with a beer parlour–no fluffing. It got to a point when I used the beer parlours as landmarks when describing the location of my house to friends; "pass the first beer parlour by your left, take a two minutes walk, you would see another beer parlour with a blue roof. Yes. The street beside that beer parlour is where my house is located". These beer parlours save my friends from missing and also saves me the hassle of explaining so much.

Concurrently, some friends came to visit today and they specifically asked to be served beer. I'm not a beer fanatic but if beer is what they want, then beer is what they would get.

It was a bit strange having two bottles of Legend beer right in front of me after ages. On a normal day, I have female friends over and they always request for soft drinks or energy drinks. Before opening the bottles of beer, I went all TG Omori on their bottles of beer (TG Omori is a renowned photographer). I'm certain that they couldn't wait to devour the unique bitter-tasting beer but they had to wait till I was done, hehe.

An eternity later and after a few pictures, I decided to let them enjoy their beer. These are old time friends who I haven't met in ages so we definitely had a lot to talk about. We spoke for hours unend and soon enough it was time for their departure.

Beer is something that brings so many people together. The conversation a group of people can have over bottles of beers and a few edibles can be amazing. It was a fun time spent with them, and also a great time to take some pictures.

Till next time, have a brew-tiful Saturday🍻

All images used belong to me and were taken with my mobile device except stated otherwise

This is #beersaturday week and I would like to invite @jhymie to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures. Have fun writing😌

Love,Wongi✨

Oh wow, you have taken me back to my days in Nigeria wongi!
Legend was probably my favourite beer there, you know I love my dark coloured things and stout & dark beers are my favourite beers. It had a healthy alcohol count too!

You just made my mouth water reminiscing!

I'm certain you do😄😄. I never thought legend would be your favorite. Maybe something like Desperado or the likes.

Beer is such kind of thing which I always avoid because the taste of beer gives me a bad feeling. I tried it sometimes but still my opinion remains the same and so I don't force myself to take it. But many people like beers and you are one of them😅.

That's good. I also don't like alcohol as a dring but as a researcher, I like alcohol because I need it as an antiseptic in my lab😅.

Oh yes😂. Alcohol in the laboratory is the only acceptable one.
