"Back to Reality"

Peace and good health everyone! Its been a while since then. How are you my Hive mates? How's everything in here?

Early weeks of this month has been a tiring and a busy days for almost all of us here in our little barrio due to the Annual Fiesta Celebration, giving thanks to our patron Saint, our Lady of Lourdes. Since day one of the month, the community were very busy for all the preparations, leaded by the Barangay Officials and SK (Sangguniang Kabataan) Officials. From the decors, to the giving of League invitations, the Barangay League itself, and of course, the house preparations which is really the main character of the event, the food preparations for the expected and unexpected visitors or guests.

As part of the SK, we were tasked to help in putting the decors (banderitas) to make a little beautification especially in our chapel. Well, thankfully, we didn't have the difficulty to think of how to make the decor because the pastoral council hired someone to make it. So, the Sk's gave more focused to the plaza, itself.

Last February 05, the Barangay League officially started. It comes with both Basketball (Men) and Volleyball (Mens and Women's Division). For all you know, I am fond of playing Volleyball, so, I didn't miss my chance and our team decided to took part of the said league. The type of tournament was Double Elimination which means, if we loss one game, we still have our chance to play. In that case, we've got one loss from playing against one of the Powerhouse teams here in our place.And during our second game, we managed to win so, we were able to proceed to the next round. But the next rounds of the game was not meant for us then. To cut the story short, we didn't managed to be on the top three. But all of us were happy for the experiences, especially us that has a new players in our team.

Meanwhile, last February 09, my long distance boyfriend came home as for his work vacation. For nine months of waiting, "the soon turns into finally." After our last game during the evening, we spent a little time together and then he went to his home to have a good night sleep.

The next day, he went to our house and helped one of my papa's friend in cleaning the pig meat. Fast forward, he went home to helped his parents then, while I helped mine two. More on assisting my mother. But actually not in all the things. At around 7 pm, some our visitors already arrived. And here comes the problem, all of a sudden, we experienced a water supply shortage and a brownout. Thankfully, the brownout didn't last for long. But the water came back the following day. Good thing, my mama was prepared for it. But of course, the things should be done smoothly if everything is functioning well.

At around 9:30 pm, Rhed and I decided to prepare ourselves for the night's Disco. But due to the bad weather we didn't enjoy that night. But with each other's side, I must say, its more than enough already. Prior to that, he gave me a gifts like a ring and a necklace. As what he says, "it suits your outfit for tonight." Of course, as a remembrance, we took some pictures together.

On the fiesta day, we watched the championship game of Volleyball Women's Division together.

After which, together with my dance group mates, we went to the venue of the coronation night to have our blocking and our final practice, while Rhed watched the Finals of Mens Basketball.

Around 7:30 pm, the coronation night has started. We went to perform last, so we waited for our turn while watching the event. Good thing, the weather was not that bad, the event was successful.

After the event, Rhed and I again, attended the night's Disco. This time, we really had a memorable time together with our friends. And the announcements and giving of prizes to those team that won the Barangay League was made by our very own SK Chairman.

The following day, was the most tiring of them all. The cleaning and the re-arrangements of things in our house. My mama was very eager to finish everything fast but me, I still took much time to be in bed because of what happened at the Disco. I was a little drunk actually. But of course, I helped my mama anyways.

Fast Forward, I know most of us here celebrated Valentines day yesterday. But for us, it was not that good because of the heavy rains. Bad timing it was. Still, I've got to spent a little time with him at their house, having dinner together with his parents and his younger sister, and a short time while having a karaoke session.

Everything is indeed temporary. Now that the tiredness and being busy were all done, we are to face back in reality. In my case, I need to grind again because I'm out of funds in my pocket now. Lol.XD. Well, I am not in a hurry. Of course, it will take time and effort to do that.
