MY PERSPECTIVE ON A WOMAN ASKING ME OUT ON A DATE
If you're from Africa or Nigeria, my country, to be precise, it's unusual to see a lady asking a man out on a first date. Most people see such a lady as being cheap for doing that, but the majority of people in the top world countries don't really see it as a big deal; instead, they believe if you admire someone, then it's best to approach them regardless of your gender. In both respects, I've got my opinion, and I'd love to share it with you.
The world has evolved beyond the contemporary Norms we're used to, and it's worthy of note that we can't keep following the trend that men should always make the first move. As such, we've watched loads of ladies admire a man from afar, but because of the fear of what people will say, you see such ladies keep their distance or just probably pose some way closer to the man in question in order to get notice or be attractive to the man.
Such moves work for some, but in most cases, the lady is still seen as desperate and the like, so rather than being seen as such, it's better to just grab the bull by the horn and face one's fear, regardless of what response you'll get from the guy. Personally, as a man, I don't see any big deal in getting approached by a lady to go on a date, and I don't think that will ever change.
In fact, I tend to hold such a lady in high regard because I know that for such a person to approach me, it must be that they truly care for me or that there's something that attracted them to me, but regardless of what it is that warrants the approach, I'll oblige at first to at least get to know one another and then decipher if she's my type of woman or not.
I haven't really been approached by a lady for us to go on a date before, but I've at one point been approached by a lady to have sexual intercourse with her, which I bluntly declined, the reason being that one, it was a freezing cold day, and I felt that's the reason she's asking for such, and another was because I'm not really attracted to her, and I don't want to take advantage of her vulnerability to do what she might later regret doing in a few hours or minutes.
In a nutshell, I don't see a lady asking me out on a date as a big deal and won't, because of that, view her as cheap or desperate, but instead appreciate the love and give room for time to get to know one another and see if our dreams align and if I can truly love her as much as she did towards me.

Wow. This is a beautiful piece and it shows how much you inculcate self discipline. Being approached by a lady for date is not a big deal really and i know how much such a lady would have thought about it before speaking up so as not to be seen as being cheap.
That's just it, for her to comes shows she has good intentions or as at least thought it over before coming.
