Hello friends, happy weekend! I hope this meets you well. This is my entry to this this week's #beersaturday challenge by @detlev.

It's true, just like the caption said, I am much more calmer when I see football game while I sip beer from my bottle or tumbler.

Some days ago, Nigeria my country played their first game in the ongoing AFCON 2024. (African Cup of Nations). The tournament is currently happening in Ivory Coast. Nigeria is in same group "A" with three other countries viz; Ivory coast, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea Bissau. On this day, Nigeria's opponent was Equatorial Guinea. I was at home seeing the game over some chilled beers. As always, my favourite bear is Heineken beer 🍻.

The game was a well contested one. Equatorial Guinea have not had a great history in soccer in Africa, but in recent times, they seam to be an underdog after they won the super eagles of Nigeria in a friendly encounter that was played sometime last year at Abuja. The game ended 1 - 0 in their favour.

When we saw ourselves in same group at the main event, we knew it would be a well contested game, as we had scores to settle. Eventually, it turned out to be a well contested game as expected.
At halftime, score: zeros.

While the brake lasted, I watched the match analysis and commentary before I went to the kitchen to warm up some food. Earlier in the day, I made jollof rice with chicken.
I had dished the food a served it with a new can Heineken beer before the second half started.

Shortly after the breck, Equatorial Guinea scored. They were still celebrating when surprisingly, Nigeria responded with a goal in less than a minute and it was Equatorial Guinea 1-1 Nigeria.

As expected, I continued doing justice to my beer. I poured it out into a tumbler and had a sip moment after moment.

The struggle for supremacy continued till the last minute of the game, and it ended in a 1-1 draw.

By the time the game ended, I had already finished the second bottle of my beer.

About My Beer🍻.

I can drink any brand of beer, however, Heineken beer is my favorite of all beers. And that's the only beer you can find in my fridge. It have been my favorite for over a decade. A closer look at this container will reveal that this particular bear is made in Nigeria by Nigerian brewery, under the supervision of Heineken. The pictures below refers.

This drank is in a 33cl container. It's alcoholic content is 5%.

The ingredients used to produce this may include:
Water, Malted barely,Hop extract, Nutritional values per 100ml, Energy 176kj/42kcal, Fat 0.0g Off which saturates you 0.0g, Carbohydrates 3.2g, Protein 0.0g, Sodium /<0.1.

This beer is better served when it's chilled.
And it's for adults more than 18 years of age.

I love it because it foams so well and it's very smooth on the mouth. Again, it doesn't give me problems no matter the quantity I take it.
