Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 135
Hello feather friends it's been a while, first of all let me greet you a happy weekend. How's everyone here? I Hope you're all fine and happy, I'm here to join in ma'am @nelinoeva contest round #135 theme Beak and here's my entry.
Everyone sure knows that we have a lot of ducks in our place and today I want to share the journey of giving birth lol 😅😆 the hatching of the eggs of our mama duck with a little help of my son.
Why this stuff needs help if it can do it the natural way?
For a long time we observed that 25-30% of the ducklings inside the eggs died because of suffocation.
And How?
Hubby said that when the weather is too hot the ducklings will dry if they can't escape the time needed for them. I also noticed that when month of November & December came it's more easier for the ducklings to be hatched.
When the hatching starts at night it will be much better, because all we have to do is to check on what's left. The image below,my son is helping the duck to came out easily by not rushing because their navel is very sensitive they'll die with a wrong name. And my son saw the safety precautions with his father.
And here they are our new members of duck family.
Thank you so much for dropping by,
Much Love, @usagigallardo
I should try to join the contest too sis. How to join?
Wow!! You are having farm pets too.
Fantastic to see how they are "folded" in the eggs space! I wish you luck that they come good through the hot time ❤️
The little ducklings are super cute, you've done a good job.🙂
