Can job loss have a psychological effect? - WEEK 169

Can job loss have a psychological effect?

And this weekend, as usual, we have writing ideas that highlight aspects of our lives that we have already experienced or may experience in the future.

In today's post I will share with you emotions, feelings, experiences that I have had in real life, yes, I had the surprise of being unemployed sometime in 2013, so how did I manage to handle this situation.

Yes, in our life having a job is essential, inevitably you don't have much choice, without a job your life on the planet can be a nightmare for you and for those around you.

In my case when I lost my job I took it as a challenge, I kept thinking, maybe my former job and employer didn't deserve me, maybe I was looking for something better for myself, looking for another job where I could advance, I never wanted to get stuck in a certain place, I always looked for the next professional level.

In all the time I was employed and had a job I managed with all the daily expenses and the rest of the unexpected expenses to put money aside (I set up a "dark days" account, as I like to say), so when I became unemployed my first action was to check the resources I had at that time.

So for a start we tried to cut back as much as we could, we gave up holidays, going out, eating out, and it was good because we managed to save money, with what we saved we managed to pay other expenses.

Here in Romania we have an online job platform, clearly I posted my CV here, maybe I'll get lucky (but even if sometimes I was desperate to find a job I wouldn't have accepted any position) and find the right job for me.

I have to admit that I had a few jobs that I aspired to, yes, I contacted the staff at those jobs to send my resumes here as well.

I forgot to tell you that during the whole period I was unemployed I filed my papers and the Romanian state gave me unemployment, a very small help if we talk about money, but even so with this unemployment I managed to pay part of my monthly expenses.

I had great confidence in myself and my abilities and I didn't have so many problems finding a job, the job market is very varied, I was sure that any opportunity I found I could adapt very easily (I don't want to brag about my studies, but I have enough, plus a lot of refresher courses).

To conclude my post today (even though I currently have a steady job) I want to share a little secret with you and that is that my goal for the future is to find a job where I don't have to be physically present and where I don't have to work eight hours like a robot, but work remotely, make my own schedule, and not have a frustrated boss.

If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.

P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone, and the text is also designed by me.

Yours @triplug😉

Yeah what can I say, that would be ideal for me, I'm sick of being a slave to those bosses or that dirty system.
Have a wonderful Sunday.

Once Hive is worth at least a couple of dollars, many of us will be able to pursue their dream jobs by becoming fulltime bloggers here ;)

Indeed it is, but until the value of Hive increases we have to be patient.
Yes I have to admit again that my dream is to be my own boss, to be able to work remotely without having an annoying boss.
I even came up with the idea of creating a YouTube account to add content there as well.
But for all this, some money is needed, money that I currently invest in something else.
But I'm not giving up on the idea of YouTube😉

Wow, I didn´t you want to be a Youtuber :) But I heard that Youtube often changes their monetary policy and that earning by posting videos there is increasingly hard. I think that content creation here on Hive is better appreciated and rewarded, even now during the bear market. But feel free to link your Youtube channel here, I will check it out :)

For now the channel is at the user and password and name only stage, I haven't posted a vlog in the true sense of the word yet, still thinking about it.

I see. I actually have a Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5pk-YU8sGEmAdSFqJBweiA but I only created it to have a storage place for my Hive videos :) I mean most of the videos that I uploaded right on the Hive (Steem before) video platforms like DTube etc. are not there anymore. That´s why I upload my videos to Youtube now and then just share the links in my Hive posts. But I´m not a vlogger, I shoot videos very rarely...

I've seen that you have a few videos uploaded to YuoTube that are only a few dozen seconds long.
I know many vloggers in Romania who do this for a living, but they do it professionally, they film in 4k, the places where they film are sensational and they have many followers.
Some of them have 80k, 100k or even over a million subscribers.
To make You Tube you need a lot of time, a lot of hours of filming, a lot of hours of editing, if you want something nice to come out that people will follow.

And I would be happy if the Hive price was acceptable, and yes for now I'm focusing my attention on Hive the rest is at the project stage and when the time comes I will know how to make a decision.
