I love to recycle! Anything! :)
In this project, I've had the idea to paint a human figure on a "radiating" energy background.

To recycle means to give new birth to something.

It's been up in my mind right since I've seen the next Cosmic Creations contest run by @alienarthive

I've remembered about some old paper CD printable stickers...

Also I wanted to use a piece of floor tile from our recent kitchen renovation...



I used the biggest uncut part from the sticker to sketch a basic human form...

Then cut it and stick it on the tile...

It doesn't need to be perfect as I'm going to paint on over it :)


Applying darker background... Some simple kitchen sponge is going to do the work...

Ahh I forgot that the sticker is made from paper and it is going to soak...

Need to paint faster, before it is totally off :)
My fingernails helped me to stick it for a while til a mix some colors.
Yeah we're getting the creative mess... all over. Because of the rushing energy I even spilled some black metallic paint from the tube on the wooden floor :P


Not bad! You see the metallic color is shining differently under the view angles and I only have a warm artificial light in the room. It's a dark sky outside too, so cannot expect a nature light to aid me. Just have to imagine :)

Time to remove the the paper human :)

Why not #recycle it ;)
Just for fun put it upside down to stamp it on the paper...

Ha! I remembered about an interesting technique to mix the paints on a paper and stick it for a nice palette and color effects.


I've seen this by street spray painting performers...sticking newspapers on the painting then removing it fast to splash the colors ;)

Better next time. Or maybe create a whole painting like that...

Time for the result:

Here is a close-up. We need better light. But it is still drying.
Meanwhile I'm going to hang my washed clothes :D

I guess it is not finished yet...
but who knows! :)

It was a pleasant experiment that gave me inspiration!
More like a story than a finished "product"

There's still the paper back from the sticker left, so I can paint it and stamp/ print it somewhere ;)
