my contribution for the Hands - TRAVEL CONTEST #102

Hands of mom

I achieved this blurred effect with a help of the special lend - the tilt-shift Lensbaby Composer glass.
Photographed during my personal project - "Lensbaby One-week project" when i photographed the whole week with this only lens day by day.

That seems to be an awesome project. By the way, a few days ago I attached my 7artisans 35mm f/1.2 manual lens on my mirrorless Canon camera and I think I'll keep it on for some time more now :)))

The hands are one of the parts that in my opinion are little photographed in relation to other parts of the body, and they represent so much, they are so fundamental in our days, in the realization of art, of artifacts, of sowing, they are the bridge that makes us come into contact with others, with which we feed ourselves, they are the bridge that brings us into contact with others, with which we feed, caress, hold, with which we photograph, with which we bless, with which we dry tears, with which we wave to greet, with which we help us to communicate at a distance, in short, it is a long list of elementary tasks that hands can do, and with a photograph and several others we honor them.

The hands are also in addition to our intelligence that characterize us as humans, we are the only beings capable of using hands in such a way, perfectly designed for the use of tools, for manipulation, we share with the monkey a similar quality, although their hands are not as perfectly designed as ours, I am sure that if they were, their consciousness would be very close to ours, the hands a special attribute of humanity.

I made this picture when I was working for a construction company, and the belong to very honest man from Senegal, Omar, who was working in Spain for a decade. At the time the image was taken he was working with plaster to cover an interior wall.

Unless stated otherwise, all the pictures and the words are mine.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Hello, here my entry

IMG_20220902_223226.jpg

Today I did a photo session with my niece and son's hands, playing with them looking for different intentions and angles. The great thing is that the kids had fun and we had a nice time. I hope you like it.
