Wild life photography contest

Storks are definitely a symbol of peace and homeliness. These amazing birds have a special respect in my country. It is believed that a stork will never settle in an energetically bad place. They usually make their nests on poles along the road. The arrival of storks in spring is always an event. But it should be said that in recent years they change their habits and more and more often stay to winter in Ukraine. Indeed, why create difficulties for themselves and continuously flap their wings, travelling many thousands of kilometres, if winters, which have become much milder, allow them to comfortably overwinter in Ukraine.

During this winter I have already seen several storks hunting mice in the field. I thought that if these birds change their habits like this, it will surely affect the rodent population. I don't think our farmers would mind.
