Hi, my dear friends!

That's the start of the next year. Very soon we will be able to say that we have lived a quarter of the 21st century. A whole generation has grown in this century! My friends and I joke that we are very ancient because we were born in the last century!

And I continue to share with you photo reports about my life. Today, the dogs and I specifically visited the field and the forest to take new photos for today's contest. To be honest, the day was not too suitable for photography, everything seemed to be covered with haze and it made the photos fuzzy and the paints faded. But it's how our January looks like this year...

I tried to shoot the landscape by including the trees along the road in the frame. A tall shrub, bald for the winter, and a young pine tree, very bright against the faded background of the rest of the landscape. I like these young pines, which acquire a bright green-yellow shade in winter.

The rest of the landscape looks rather sad. It can't be said that it has changed a lot since autumn, but there is no colour brightness. In addition, the snow that fell and melted throughout December turned the autumn leaves and grass into a faceless mass, which is little interesting.

The situation is a little better inside the forest. There are at least some colours here. It's mostly evergreen lichens. Everything around is covered with last year's foliage. If I were shown these pictures and asked what month it is, I would say it's November!

But in any case, a new stage of life has begun. I promised myself that I would try to be more active this year and devote more time to photography. I don't remember where I read it, but the Universe gives us 72 hours to confirm our intentions with action. I said I want to take more photos and I've already taken the first step today. I hope the Universe will support my plans and will give me good weather and interesting objects to shoot 😊
