Not all would dare to go to the road less traveled

Unless they know they have traffic violations and avoid checkpoints along the road.

One fine day, I and my wife took the road less taken to avoid getting caught in checkpoints, not because we did something unlawful but because we just didn't want to spend a penny for that and also to experience new adventures.

From my mother's house where we dropped our son off to stay, I took teh detour road which offers wonderful views and serene surroundings.

Some parts of the road are too narrow that only pedestrians and motorcycles can pass, passing through cassava farms and plantations. Thankfully, the sun was high up in the sky and dried the slippery road.

Lush greens, blue sky, and fluffy clouds look perfect, and I could not ask for more. My eyes enjoyed so much as we travelled along the road feeling nature around me.

This road was private, but is now used by some workers in the factory that is in our place since the road that we usually take is blocked by the owner. They put fences around their land forcing the poor to travel this slippery road.

My wife and I only had very little we time at home so we decided to stop for a bit, of course, to take pictures, thus I caught a photo of a reflection of the surroundings in my motorcycle side mirror, my entry.

We came unprepared, it could have been better if we had food to share while watching the wonderful view around us, but perhaps we could come back here some other time soon.

As for me, taking the road less traveled is wonderful and full of adventure! It is filled with surprises and nobody knows what awaits on the far end yet it would still take you to where you need to be.
