Looking for a place to hide from the hot weather in Kotaku #week 176
Hello friends, happy Wekend to all of you in various corners of the world. I live in Indonesia, there are no 4 seasons in my country so I have never experienced snow and autumn and I have never experienced snow until now..ha..ha. I only experience two seasons, namely summer and rainy season, where sometimes there are times when it is all day long and it always rains continuously even though it is not entering the rainy season, and vice versa, there are times when the sun's rays are very hot even though it has entered the rainy season here. The months ending in BER are September, October, November and December.
The past few weeks have been very hot in my city, while some other cities have entered the rainy season, but in my city the rainy season hasn't arrived yet and I still have to enjoy the hot sun continuously where the AC in my house doesn't seem to work because of the heat sun. Because of this, my wife and I decided to go to the river bank in the mountainous area just to hide from the hot sun in my city.
To get to the edge of this river I have to travel 1.5 hours using my two-wheeled vehicle, not only that, this is my destination with my wife because this place is free of charge, the water is very clear and directly from the mountain area inside. forest, there are no visitors here because there are no interesting photo spots here. And this is the advantage for me, this river is like a private place for my wife and I.
Enjoying the sound of crickets and the sounds of wild birds flying around, breathing in the fresh air that comes from the mountains and green trees around the river and I enjoy everything here with the cool air and cold river water like ice, making my spirit like go back home. Not only enjoying it because of course I also brought lunch and enjoyed a cup of ginger milk coffee that my wife made directly at this place because we brought our own portable stove.
An exciting weekend where I don't have to spend money, and can save on using the AC in my house, which of course has an impact on electricity payments at my house. I want every weekend to be like this when it's a very hot summer day because enjoying a holiday doesn't have to be expensive and cost a lot of money, and this is my weekend answer this week with what I have to do.

Thank you for sharing, your weather is just similar here in my country Philippines. Yes, you are right that BER month is a rainy season. But when the sun rays or on sunny days it is too hot. We avoid this weather because it is not good for our health. Danger for hypertension.
