Adding a bit of HP to the Holozing Delegation Fund! ❤️

Hello Holozing Community!

It seems like there are so many people getting involved with this game, and although I don't have very much Hive to contribute, I have also been extremely pumped since hearing about this new game coming to Hive!

I have been an avid Pokemon fan for as long as I can remember (I personally started with Fire Red on Gameboy Color), and still play to this day on my Switch!

When I heard about @Holozing, I knew immediately that I needed to be apart of this game and community, and start buying up as many $ZING tokens as possible!

During this post, The @Holozing account described a lot of valuable in-game information, along with various methods to start earning $ZING rewards, and what ZING would be used for in the game!

So about a week ago, I ended up buying and staking 625 $ZING tokens to start earning rewards! I also had a little over 4.6 $POSH in my Hive Wallet, so that gives me a small amount of rewards too.

Above is a screenshot of my ZING staking rewards for 11-18-23.

This for one kind of bothers me - being new to the Blockchain and not fully understanding everything about token distribution and token economy as a whole, I previously sold most of my POSH tokens, for no real reason other to have more funds to buy and trade other tokens/rising star NFTs, but I really wish I would have helf on to them! - Note, I just checked, I only had a little over 3 POSH that I traded a while ago when I was first exploring Hive Engine, and figuring out how token trading worked.

Anyways, I have earned about 15 ZING in rewards to date, and today I decided to get in on the HP Delegation option that's being rewarded as well! I wish I had more fiat currency to invest (in both $HIVE and ZING), but for now, everything I have in my wallet I've built from rewards alone within Hive!

Anyways, I decided to Delegate a little over 46 HP, lowering my total to 500, which I may start to slowly delegate to other accounts/communities, such as @cryptocompany to start earning CCP and $CCD rewards!

Above are screenshots from my first rewards claimdrop after Delegating HP to @Holozing, which I received today on 11-19-23, and Below is my ZING staking balance after claiming these rewards!

But, shortly after I started my HP Delegation, I decided to swap a little over 5 HBD to HIVE so I could buy a few more ZING and get into the ZING:SWAP.HIVE liquidity pool.

While I've been taking screenshots and wanting to write this post for a few days now, I mainly decided to start my HBD swap because of a recent post from @libertycrypto27, detailing his analysis of the recent ZING reward claimdrops, which provided some very detailed and informative information, and prompted me to add a little bit to the pool.

Again, my rewards won't be near as large as some of these other accounts, but we all have to start somewhere! Hopefully, I'll be able to obtain/earn enough ZING to be able to get the full experience out of Holozing, but I'm also saving some HBD in my wallet to be able to purchase the Healer NFT - which @acidyo just released a post about that as well!

It's still unclear when the starter pack will get release, and what it will cost, but I for one plan on picking up as many as I can! I have 10 HBD in my wallet currently, and 60 in savings, so I may start to transfer some HBD from my savings to get as many packs as possible!

As a Pokenerd, it's a personal goal of mine to collect all creatures in-game, so I want to obtain one of each starter creature in Holozing, so I figure I should try to buy at least 4 of these "starter packs", and maybe even a few more, just to increase my chances of obtaining all 4 starter creatures.

I know I'm not the only one, but I personally can't wait for more information about the game, not to mention to start playing, although @acidyo's recent post had a lot of good information within it to quench my curiosity for the moment!

Now, onto the second part of this post - My submission for the @Holozing Naming Contest!

In this post, the @Holozing Team also announced a naming contest for the 4 starters within the game, the Fire Wolf, the Electric Rabbit, the Water Whale, and the Grass Raccoon!

As a die-hard fan of Pokemon, I have a vast amount of useless Pokemon information stored within my stoner brain! So, I decided to get really baked last night and do some thinking on names for the initial set of Holozing Starters!

As stated in the naming contest post, each starter will have 4 unique stats based on their specific type and abilities, which are still unknown to us as potential Healers at this time!

But, we do know the specific battle stances for each creature, which could help in determining specific creature roles, such as Damage, Tank, or Specialty type roles!

All of the pictures below were copied from the @Holozing naming contest post, mentioned above!

#1 Fire Wolf

image.png

Base Form - Wolfalaze (Wolf + Blaze)

Evolution 1 - Wolfurnas (Wolf + Furnace)

Evolution 2 - Wolferno (Wolf + Inferno)

I am a Fire Type Fan, and have always chosen a Fire Starter in every pokemon game I've ever played. But still, this one was hard for me to figure out. Everything I initially thought of and searched for on Google was already apart of a fan-made Pokemon community in some way or another.

But, still, I think these names turned out ok, and have some potential to be contenders on the naming contest!

I envision this fiery pup starting out as a curious ball of energy, emboldened by his fiery mane and tail, and quick to pick fights with others to try and assert its dominance throughout the land.

While the Base Form of this creature is tiny in comparison to its Second Form, it will finally evolve into a ferocious monstrosity of a creature, leaving a blazing inferno behind it as it roams the plains, seeking out its next challenge.

#2 Grass Raccoon

image.png

Base Form - Kitalup (Kit + Tulip)

Evolution 1 - Petaloon (Petal + Racoon)

Evolution 2 - Treecoon (Tree + Raccoon)

I had a lot of ideas for this cute looking Racoon, but I wasn't exactly sure how weed related names would go over in this game, so I decided to go with something a little more simple.

This little kit looks mischievous, and could be a scrapper! Just look at that stance! With the little flower bud for a tail, I can imagine this creature stealthily moving through the forest, blending into the foliage it grows from its tail while looking for its next item to swipe.

hive dividers-03.png

#3 Water Whale

image.png

Base Form - Whadrop (Whale + Drop)

Evolution 1 - Whaspray (Whale + Spray)

Evolution 2 - Whasoon (Whale + Monsoon)

Just as it's Fire Type counterpart, this creature was really fun to name, and I feel like each name flow pretty well with the others in their evolved forms, starting from a drop, and working towards a monsoon.

Even in it's Base Form, this creature looks like a potential tank that can deal massive amounts of special attack damage, or even provide many special conditions, such as "rainy day" or "misty morning", that could lower up water type creatures and move sets.

Starting out as a (rather massive) water droplet, this calf has the potential to evolve into a creature large enough to churn the seas themselves, pounding their opponents with monsoon sized waves.

hive dividers-03.png

#4 Electric Rabbit

image.png

Base Form - Bunnibolt (Bunny + Bolt)

Evolution 1 - Hoppavolt (Hopper + Volt)

Evolution 2 - Kickahertz (Kick + Gigahertz)

This one was extremely fun to name, and I think it looks ready to rumble! I wanted to stick with the theme of utilizing the name of the creature mixed with the type they are, and I can envision this little fluff ball kicking up an electrical storm to paralyze opponents!

Being both a rabbit, and electric type, I envision this little creature is quicker than average, and has the ability to perform hit combo moves, such as Lighting Jab or Volt Kick.

Starting out as small bolt of energy, this little creature evolves into a conduit of electricity, collecting and charging the static from the air around it and channeling into destructive lighting storms.

Good luck to everyone entering the contest, good luck to the @Holozing team in their tough decision to make! So many awesome posts and name ideas are being made, so I can only image how hard it will be to pick finalists, let alone winners!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a blessed and wonderful day!
