Desayuno feliz [ESP-ENG]
¡Hola chicos! Espero estén súper bien. Yo de nuevo por aquí documentándoles cosas de mi vida y en esta oportunidad es un desayuno simple pero súper delicioso y quise hacerlo de una forma especial para mi pareja y para mí.
Hi guys! I hope you are doing great. I'm here again documenting things of my life and this time it's a simple but super delicious breakfast and I wanted to make it in a special way for my partner and me.
El día comenzó bien temprano para mí y pensé: ¿Qué podría hacer de desayuno? Quería algo fácil y rápido, pero súper rico.
Decidí mirar la nevera y los ingredientes que tenía y dice la mitad de un aguacate que nos habían regalado, tenía mortadela y queso. Sinceramente, todo esto es una reliquia porque muchas personas hoy no tienen que comer en sus casas y nosotros tenemos para escoger.
The day started early for me and I thought: What could I make for breakfast? I wanted something easy and quick, but super tasty.
I decided to look in the fridge and the ingredients I had and it says half of an avocado that we had been given as a gift, it had mortadella and cheese. Honestly, all this is a relic because many people today do not have to eat at home and we have to choose from.
Decidí hacer unas arepas rellenas y acompañarlas con aguacate
Para la preparación de nuestra arepa necesitaremos harina pan que es de Venezuela pero si no eres de Venezuela y quieres intentar esta receta tienes que buscar una harina de maíz precocida.
I decided to make some stuffed arepas and accompany them with avocado.
For the preparation of our arepas we will need bread flour which is from Venezuela but if you are not from Venezuela and want to try this recipe you have to look for a precooked corn flour.
Yo la hago primero agregándole el agua y hago un cálculo más o menos de cuántas arepas quiero, por lo menos quiero que me salgan más o menos tres arepas y por esto utilizaré una taza y media de harina y casi el doble de agua.
I make it first adding the water and I calculate more or less how many arepas I want, at least I want more or less three arepas and for this I will use one and a half cups of flour and almost double the amount of water.
Primero coloco el agua en un bol y le agrego un poco de sal y un toque de azúcar lo mezclo bien pruebo el agua para saber si está suficientemente salada y le agrego la harina poco a poco hasta que cubra casi por completo el agua la dejo reposar un minuto y luego amaso para incorporar todo.
First I put the water in a bowl and add a little salt and a touch of sugar, mix it well, test the water to see if it is salty enough and add the flour little by little until it almost completely covers the water, let it rest for a minute and then knead to incorporate everything.
Hago mis bolitas de arepas y las pongo a asar en un budare.
Yo las cocino a llama media tapadas y cuando estén casi lista le subo la candela a full, las cocino tapadas y estoy súper pendiente para darles vuelta y vuelta. Cuando estén abombaditas ya están listas.
I make my arepa balls and put them to roast in a budare.
I cook them over medium heat covered and when they are almost ready I turn up the heat to full, I cook them covered and I am very attentive to turn them over and over. When they are puffy, they are ready.
Frío un poco de nuestra mortadela y procedo a rellenar nuestras arepas con queso mortadela y para complementar un aguacate.
I fry some of our mortadella and proceed to fill our arepas with mortadella cheese and to complement an avocado.
Este es un desayuno feliz porque ambos estábamos súper animados hoy. De hecho mi plato pueden ver es una arepa abierta por la mitad con mortadela y queso en cada parte de la arepa y una rodaja de aguacate que parece una carita sonriendo.
This is a happy breakfast because we were both in high spirits today. In fact my dish you can see is an arepa opened in half with mortadella and cheese on each side of the arepa and a slice of avocado that looks like a smiling face.
Disfrutamos a nuestro desayuno viendo a Harry Potter en el canal de televisión y listo. Espero tengan un buen provecho y nosotros estamos disfrutando a partir de este momento el día.
