LOH #175: Sacrifice is the Greatest Act of Love!

*I am captivated by this week's contest initiated by @nainaztengra, and I am glad to answer the question: *

1️⃣ A Woman is always expected to make sacrifices for her family. Have you ever sacrificed anything necessary for your loved ones and never spoken about it? Would you like to share your story with us?

A woman who sacrifices everything and demands nothing deserves the world.

I grew up in a large family, and because my parents were impoverished, it was difficult for us to live comfortably. Because they are undergraduates, they lack steady employment and thus have never had the opportunity to shape their children's lives as they see fit. However, I never held them responsible for our basic needs because I saw firsthand the immense effort and sacrifice they made on our behalf. More than that, they made it possible for us—me in particular—to fulfill my dreams and become the person I am today, despite the poverty.

So when I got the chance to enter college, I promised to help them and improve our lives.

I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2016. That same year, I took and passed the licensing exam. After attending a private school for two years, I decided to try my hardest to get into public schools because I needed a higher salary to support my family.

Since then, I’ve become the breadwinner of the family.

I loved the responsibility of being the provider, and it was a sacrifice I will always be grateful for.

I've been a selfless workaholic for as long as I can remember. I always felt that they needed it more than I did, so I neglected my own needs, which caused me to burn out and suffocate sometimes.

I gave up my freedom, happiness, and youth, but I can't say anything because I don't let them feel like a burden to me. I always want to make them happy; sometimes, others take advantage of that. I always show them how strong I am, even when I feel weak, and how full I am, even when my pocket is empty.

This is the other aspect of being the primary provider for the family; others may think you are strong and capable of handling all the duties and issues by yourself, but sometimes you are not.

However, everything worked out for the best, and these sacrifices helped shape who I am now. My responsibilities taught me to be thankful for everything in my surroundings and made me more responsible than before. I am strong and optimistic because of all the storms and circumstances, and I know I can overcome anything that stands in my way.

As a result of these sacrifices, I became a goal-digger, which fuels my passion and encourages me to follow my life's ambitions. I'm confident that these compromises will pay off in the end.

I define sacrifice as love, and sacrifice is inevitable.

The greatest fear we all have, myself included, is most often that of "putting all of our eggs in one basket." What if I give it my all and it doesn't work out? What if I go with this over that? In actuality, choosing a single path only temporarily restricts us. Whether or not you succeed, you are confined to a limited training period. Still, by sacrificing, you emerge at the other end with new possibilities. You emerge with greater maturity and fantastic experience.

When committing, remember that the opposite of putting all your eggs in one basket is to stay in the negotiation process, continuously weigh the opportunity cost of selecting a particular course, and strive to obtain the best option without ever attempting any other options. Realize that contemplating is the opposite of committing, that you cannot recall your activities during the previous ten years. We’ve got to sacrifice our potential for actuality.

I believe growing up in a family who make the most of what they have, makes for greater happiness than those born with a silver spoon in their mouths. I really don't mean that disrespectfully but when I look at my own childhood, my parents sacrificed so much for us.
I'm sure your family must be so proud of you, and they have reason to be!

I strongly agree with you ❤️ Knowing that despite poverty and all the circumstances, still they give the most of they have for the sake of us. This will be our inspiration to strive harder ♥️
