Henthusiasts, Bring Me Challenge #14 - Simut Simut

Good day folks, it's me again Suteru here for another Weekly Bring Me Challenge, and for todays topic is " Insects ". This weeks challenge is not that hard because insects are everywhere. But I'm gonna feature an insect that doesn't always show anytime unlike ants that can be seen everywhere.

So here is my entry, we call this in our locality " Simut Simut " also known as swarmers . They always show in groups of hundreds, they usually show up during rainy seasons here in our province. They show up at night and fly around where the light is.

They fly until their wings were removed, I really don't know the reason why they do this but we are careful when they are just crawling in the ground. Based on my personal experience they can enter your ears , it's hard to get them out once they're inside.

When these insects gather into the light my pets is also there ready to eat anything that falls , or they also jump into them. Most of the times my cats will eat a lot of them that when it's time to feed them they are already full.

I don't really know how this insects plays a part in the ecosystem, maybe it's time for me to read some about insect. When I do find out more about this little things, Ill be happy to share and comes with it will be more close up photos that will be satisfying to see. hehe
