Henthusiasts, Bring Me Challenge #12- Tree of Life

Good day Henthusiasts, It's me again suteru participating again in the " Bring Me Challenge ". I'm not able to join the previous contests but now I'm ready to take any challenge. 😇 😊 😎

So lets do it, for my entry this week I will highlight my favorite tree, the Coconut Tree known as the tree of life. As we all know this tree has no waste to spare , everything part has its use.

1. Leaves - most of use use this part to make stick broom and also used as roof and walls for kubo( native houses made of light materials). We can see this used as roof often in cottages built on beach resorts, for the coconut usually thrives in this kind of areas

2. Fruit - the fruit alone have many uses, aside from it being a source of food and drink, its shells also is a good fire wood. Other uses for its white part( don't know how they call it) is for extracting " gata " that is used for many Filipino foods like kakanin, tambong tambong and many more that uses "gata". Also we can extract oil from this part of the coconut fruit, just grind it and cook it until the oil comes out.

1. Trunk - for me the only known use of its trunk is for lumber, in our place we use it for building temporary shade and shelter for our livestocks.

As far as my knowledge goes this are the things that a coconut can be used, so if there are other uses that I did not mention please feel free to drop it in the comment.

Here in our baragay we just usually plant cocounut for its leaves and fruit. But the problem for me personally is that if I can't climb the tree to get its fruit when its gets too tall, but fortunately I have my older brother and brother in law to do it, hehe. Not all household have this tree in their yard so most of the time they just ask to get some if they want to it, we usually share since this tree bears a lot of fruit.
