Good day everyone, another week another battle challenge. This weeks battle challenge is kinda hard because it doesn't always come out unlike other ruleset. But I'm lucky enough that one battle in my brawl fight have this ruleset.

This ruleset is not really that impactfull since the counter to this is to not use any Taunt ability equipped monster. But adding the Born Again makes it more interesting, because this ruleset makes the game more unpredictable.

The Face Off

Having Born Again on the table, a monster with a void armor would be good but only common and rare is allowed as Rise of the Common is included in the rules.

During the line up reveal I really thought that I'm at the losing side because of those martyr monsters, but as I mentioned, Born Again makes the game more unpredictable. And my heavy armored monsters helped since the opponent did not pick any magic damage monsters.

Those gold foil Martyr monsters terrifies me to be honest, at the beginning of the match I'm already thinking how much damage will the gladius card will have since it's surrounded with those shining martyrs.

Battle Highlight

Given that my opponent did not have any magic damage, my Venari Wavesmith played a very important role in the whole match, since those armor absorbed all those heavy damage during Round One. And the poison from Deeplurker helped me a lot in chipping those health counters.

On the Third Round it became clearer to me that, I'm at a advantage just because I picked Wavesmith, it showed immediately that the lack of armor gave him a disadvantage, maybe he did it so that his Martyrs can be eliminated easily to buff his Gladius Cards, but it turned against him sim the buffed monster have cannot easily penetrate given the armors that my deck has.

On the fifth round the gladius card was supposed to make a final push with all those accumulated damage from martyr, but it was cut short with a stun from Basilisk and Wavesmith took away all it's buffs with cleanse. With that given, It secured me a an uncontested victory.
