#17 the Weekends Trio - Splinterlands Social Media Challenge (ENG/ DE)

Hello dear people,

Finally Friday ❤️ I hope you will have a nice weekend and enjoy it.

For this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge I have come up with something unusual.

I drew a human character to represent the user and gamer. For this I chose the eye "Cornealus" and the cute cat "Byzantine Kitty" as splinterlands characters. These I united in a common image, trying to keep the human character in a kind of sketch style, while I drew the splinterlands character shaded and finer.

Finally, since I wanted it to be an eye-catching social media post on the other platforms as well, I thought I'd add something eye-catching. After some time of head scratching and trying out frames, I decided to choose a sort of "Splinterlands Comic Cover" as a style, since it fits my drawing style the best. I hope you like this crazy creation, which is colorful and eye-catching.... Appropriate pun for Cornealus. 😅😜

I drew in the social media icons as a theme ad well of course.

Endlich Freitag ❤️ ich hoffe ihr werdet ein schönes Wochenende haben und dieses genießen.

Zur dieswöchigen Splinterlands Social Media Challenge habe ich mir etwas ausgefallenes einfallen lassen.

Ich zeichnete einen menschlichen Charakter, welcher den User und Gamer repräsentieren soll. Dazu wählte ich das Auge "Cornealus" und die süße Katze "Byzantine Kitty" als splinterlands Charaktere aus. Diese vereinte ich in einem gemeinsamen Bild, wobei ich versucht hatte, den menschlichen Charakter in einer Art Skizzen Stil zu halten, während ich die Splinterlands Charakter schattiert, geblendet und feiner gezeichnet hatte.

Zum Abschluss dachte ich mir, da es ein auffälliger Social Media Beitrag auch auf den anderen Plattformen sein soll, ich füge etwas auffallendes hinzu. Nach einiger Zeit an Kopfzerbrechen und ausprobieren von Rahmen entschloss ich mich, eine Art "Splinterlands Comic Cover" als Stil zu wählen, da dieser am besten zu meinem Zeichenstil passt. Ich hoffe euch gefällt diese verrückte Kreation, die farbenfroh ins Auge sticht... Passendes Wortspiel für Cornealus. 😅😜

Die social media Symbole zeichnete ich als Thema natürlich mit ein.

First I started woth the human character, because he will be in the background.

Zuerst fing ich mit dem menschlichen Charakter an, da dieser eh im Hintergrund sein soll.

So, the human character is fine, I will keep that stil without blender.

Soweit ist die menschliche Hintergrundsfigur fertig. Ich behalte den schlichten Skizzen Stil bei ohne weiter zu schattieren.

Lets add the social media symbols.

nun weiter und die Social Media Symbole dazu zeichnen.

A lot of layers right? Its more easy to me like that. If I do a mistake with one character, ai simply delete the layer.

wie man sieht im Screenshot habe ich viele Layer benutzt, so ist es etwas einfacher Fehler aUszubessern, dann lösche ich einfach eine Ebene und fange neu an.

First Splinterlands character is finished. Tataaa, Mr. Cornealus.

der erste Splinterlands Charakter ist fertig. Tataa, Herr Cornealus.

Now the kitty is ready too.

nun ist auch die Mietzekatze fertig geworden.

Last but not least the eye catching Comic bubbles and a bit more color in.

Als Schmankerln nun die Comic Sprechblasen und etwas die Farbe intensiver eingestellt.

To translate 1-1 my german native I used deepl.com. After I edited and corrected some parts because deepl.com couldn't translate all slang words perfectly. Just wanted to make this clear too.
