And why should we not smile remembering the month of May is Mother’s month all around the world 🌎 Its a thing to be happy 😆 with lots of smiles on our faces.

And thank you so much dear @trucklife-family for crowning it all with this week’s beautiful topics on motherhood and women in general. Its a special one for all of us here ladies 👩🏻.

My participation for this week will be coming from the number 1️⃣ question:

1️⃣ Motherhood is both rewarding and challenging. What has been one of your greatest lessons since becoming a mother.?

Am so motivated to pen 🖊 on this very topic because motherhood is a very challenging one. There is something we must all note here as regards to rewarding and challenging. I will refer to an old saying I learnt from my mother that: “we should labour early and then take a rest later” “And that anyone who sows expects to reap” This very noting is what describes and summarizes motherhood.

As a young mother then when I first had my children, it was indeed challenging. You will not know what it is to leave spinsterhood life into motherhood until you are in it. But the grace I had then was my mother and some of my friends who were already married because I am the kind who liked learning from those that are more experienced than me. Especially if you want to enjoy an early motherhood.

I could say entering into motherhood is another phase of life but one thing is for sure. We need to make up our mind that we are ready to avoid had I known regrets because motherhood is a phase that needs lots of patience or else one will make a mistake you will regret for the rest of your life.

The greatest part of motherhood is the joy of being a mother. The ability ordained on us by God Almighty to carry in our womb another human. The ability to give life to another being. A memory that keeps women motivated and going at all time. This alone is so beautiful 😻 when we talk about motherhood.

And to that one greatest lessons I learnt since becoming a mother is the lessons of # Endurance.

ENDURANCE::

Enduring through motherhood is like a basic necessity of needs that you must accept whether you like it or not because sometimes the things you expect may not work out especially when it concerns your children. And the love ❤️ we have for our children most times compels us to endure 😅 and accept things the way they come.

When I first had my daughter and it happened that my husband was to travel 🧳 for a business trip which will take him out of the state. Then making arrangements with one of his junior sisters to come over to the house to help out until he is back which she willingly agreed to, but after just a week she came over, she started putting up attitudes of not wanting to carry the baby when am doing laundry or cooking 🥘. Intact after few weeks , she called my husband that she can no longer stay with us because the baby does not allow her to sleep at night through crying. I was so disappointed and disorganized knowing how its going to be tough for me and the baby. And she truly left, forcing me to make plans of how my mother whom my husband is supposed to travel and bring over when he returns will start coming with the help of my sister that was in school then. I felt so bad that my husband could not stop her sister from going, but endured through it for the sack of baby.

When things like this happens, it leaves one thinking. And through many other things that will occur, but because you know your children are involved, you as their mother is the one that will continue to take every challenge because you are there for them and wanting their happiness, you will over look many things counting the days.

In conclusion, the challenging 😰 days of motherhood is something a mother must always expect which can sometimes also last more than expected but this is called the sacrificing time when we as mothers are sowing through our children expecting to reap when they are all grown which is the rewarding period. Its indeed very challenging that many who can not cope most times make the worst mistakes of their life time. I encourage mothers and women in general to always “ Take The Bull By The Horn” . Challenging days are tough but the rewarding days are so Graceful. “Don’t Ever Give Up” - for the sack of the children.
