Feathered Friends - Smap Round #169 - Bird Art - by Sunscape
This week is all about bird art found around my home. My first thought was to share this swan plant stand that I made in ceramics class over 35 years ago. I used to have a pair but broke one many years back.
It is the only stand that I have that can hold the weight of my tropical plant. It has grown so much that I had to up-pot it into a large planter.
I also have a lamp with a crane next to the sofa in this sitting room/plant room. It's the only room in the house that gets a lot of southern exposure. These two items are my addition to this week's theme.

Wow! You’re also a sculptor! That’s a very big and beautiful plant which requires proper setting. I would never have the patience to wait for the plant to grow little by little through time.
Well, not really a sculptor but I did use a mold to make the swans. The plants I have had for many years and have to trim it to keep it in check. It tends to sprawl with the large leaves. ♥
Yup. Those leaves are really large and could take the space of the whole room! Your house is like a mini jungle!

Yes, I did make the swans from a mold in ceramics many years ago.
