¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad! La imagen proporcionada ésta semana para el concurso semanal me ayudó a centrarme en uno de los eventos más importantes en la vida de una persona: El cumpleaños de su madre. Hay quienes tienen madres exigentes y ese día, puede considerarse todo un desafío, pero en mi caso, se trata de una muestra genuina por sus intereses y gustos, así como demostrarle mi amor, claro está je je

Desde que tengo memoria, en casa se han celebrado los cumpleaños y cuando llegaba el turno de mi madre, las fiestas eran más extravagantes porque ella tenía muchos amigos y les gustaba ponerse a bailar. Con el pasar del tiempo y cuando mi madre se fue a vivir a la capital, nuestros cumpleaños y el de ella, los empezamos a celebrar por separado.

El año antepasado, sin embargo, mi hermana y yo aprovechamos un viaje que realizamos a la capital, para poder compartir con mi madre y llevarle obsequios por su cumpleaños. Recuerdo que gracias a Hive, pude comprarle unas cosas de repostería que ella quería.

Ahora, que nosotros también nos hemos mudado a la capital, el cumpleaños de mi madre se acerca y comienza la cuenta regresiva para buscar qué obsequiarle.

Me gusta regalar cosas que realmente sean del gusto del festejado, llegando a actuar como un verdadero espía, estando atento a lo que la otra persona necesita y quiere. Hasta los momentos no he escuchado a mi madre mencionar qué es lo que quiere o le hace falta, pero por suerte, ella cumple a finales de Mayo, así que todavía tengo chance.

Ella es buena haciendo tortas, de hecho, ella es la que realiza las tortas de todos los que cumplen año en nuestro pequeño círculo familiar. No creo que pueda comprarle una torta, ya que ella es muy exquisita con los sabores de las tortas que venden en la panadería y seguramente, preferirá hacerse la suya... y yo soy mala para ese tipo de cosas jaja

Regalarle flores también está descartado, mucho menos una carta o una manualidad. Mientras escribo esto, pensaba en hacerle alguna blusa o prenda de ropa, pero no estoy segura, porque es algo inconforme jaja

Por alguna razón, siento que ahora que estamos cerca y que nos vemos más seguido, no sé qué podría regalarle. Tocará estar más atenta a las señales e inspirarme en mis próximas salidas al centro de la ciudad.

For as long as I can remember, birthdays have been celebrated at home and when it was my mother's turn, the parties were more extravagant because she had many friends and they liked to dance. As time went by and when my mother went to live in the capital, our birthdays and hers began to be celebrated separately.

The year before last, however, my sister and I took advantage of a trip we took to the capital, to be able to spend time with my mother and bring her gifts for her birthday. I remember that thanks to Hive, I was able to buy her some baking things that she wanted.

Now, that we have also moved to the capital, my mother's birthday is approaching and the countdown begins to find what to give her.

I like to give things that are really to the taste of the person being celebrated, acting like a true spy, being attentive to what the other person needs and wants. So far I haven't heard my mother mention what she wants or needs, but luckily, her birthday is at the end of May, so I still have a chance.

She is good at making cakes, in fact, she is the one who makes the cakes for everyone who has a birthday in our small family circle. I don't think I can buy her a cake, since she is very exquisite with the flavors of the cakes they sell at the bakery and surely, she would prefer to make her own... and I'm bad at that kind of thing haha

Giving her flowers is also out of the question, much less a letter or a craft. As I write this, I was thinking about making a blouse or piece of clothing, but I'm not sure, because it's kind of non-conforming haha

For some reason, I feel like now that we're close and seeing each other more often, I don't know what I could give him. I'll have to be more attentive to the signs and get inspired on my next outings to the city center.
