CONTENIDO EN ESPAÑOL

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad! De nuevo me sumo ésta semana en el concurso que pone a prueba nuestra mente a través de una imagen.

Tras ver ésta fotografía, lo primero que pensé fue en el sacrificio que muchas personas hacen para trasladarse, más que nada a sus sitios de trabajo y estudio. Cuando estaba en la universidad, el recorrido era largo y extenuante, lo cual hacía la experiencia del estudio más cansada. Con el tiempo, encontré una forma para distraerme durante el recorrido, ya fuera escuchando música mientras veía el paisaje o leyendo un libro. Pero eso era porque los transportes, te permitían esa comodidad.

En mi país, hubo una temporada en donde no había casi transporte por falta de gasolina y repuestos, lo que provocó la aparición de vehículos que llamaban "rutachivos", porque eran habitualmente usados para transportar ganado o mercancía. Estos "transportes", permitieron que muchas personas pudieran tratar de llegar con normalidad a sus trabajos y hogares. Aunque, no eran para nada cómodos, porque tenías que ir de pie y en ocasiones, tenían sillas improvisadas. No era un transporte seguro y ocurrieron accidentes, pero por suerte, esos vehículos dejaron de ser necesarios al poco tiempo. Lo que demuestra que, a pesar de las dificultades, el ser humano hará lo que esté a su alcance para hacer sus actividades.

Los últimos trabajos que he tenido, me han permitido la comodidad de hacerlos desde casa o incluso, con opción de estadía. Eso aparte de ser cómodo para mí, me libera de lo extenuante que puede ser abordar el transporte público, más ahora que estoy pasando por algunos inconvenientes de salud que me hacen estar cansada la mayor parte del tiempo. Cada vez que salgo al centro a comprar y veo a las personas en el transporte, puedo ver en sus caras cansadas y somnolientas, el tedio por el trayecto que deben recorrer. Algunos aprovechan ese tiempo para distraerse en el teléfono o echar una siesta mientras llegan a su destino. Sólo quedar desear que a donde sea que todos nos dirijamos, lleguemos sanos y salvos.

Hello to all the members of this community! Once again this week I join the contest that tests our mind through an image.

After seeing this photograph, the first thing I thought was about the sacrifice that many people make to move, more than anything to their places of work and study. When I was in college, the journey was long and strenuous, which made the study experience more tiring. Over time, I found a way to distract myself during the hike, whether it was listening to music while watching the scenery or reading a book. But that was because transportation allowed you that comfort.

In my country, there was a season where there was almost no transportation due to lack of gasoline and spare parts, which caused the appearance of vehicles that they called "rutachivos", because they were usually used to transport livestock or merchandise. These "transports" allowed many people to try to get to their jobs and homes normally. Although, they were not comfortable at all, because you had to stand and sometimes, they had improvised chairs. It was not safe transportation and accidents occurred, but luckily, those vehicles were no longer needed after a short time. Which shows that, despite the difficulties, human beings will do what is within their reach to carry out their activities.

The last jobs I have had have allowed me the comfort of doing them from home or even with the option of staying. That, apart from being comfortable for me, frees me from how exhausting it can be to take public transportation, especially now that I am going through some health problems that make me tired most of the time. Every time I go out downtown to shop and see people on transportation, I can see on their tired and sleepy faces the boredom of the journey they must travel. Some take advantage of this time to distract themselves on the phone or take a nap while they arrive at their destination. All that remains is to hope that wherever we are all headed, we arrive safely.
