ENGLISH CONTENT

Hello to all mural hunters! I would like to join this round #158 of the weekly street art contest, with one of the most impressive finds I've made in the city of Barquisimeto (Venezuela). This mural is located in the eastern part of the city, in an area that I don't usually travel. My boyfriend was the one who told me about it and asked me if he wanted me to come and see it in person... and I was pleasantly surprised.

All the photographs attached to this publication correspond to the same wall. That's right, along an extensive wall, there are a series of colorful drawings that I think represent journalism, since we find the faces of cameramen prepared to capture a scene (which would be the spectator himself), a typewriter , representing the transcripts of the news, different means of news transmission, such as the newspaper, television and press conferences, among other elements.

It was impossible for me to get a picture of the entire wall, given how extensive it was and the high vegetation. Precisely this last thing also prevented me from taking frontal pictures of some drawings, since I was afraid that a hidden animal like a snake would appear ha ha. Luckily, I was wearing my rain boots and thanks to them, I was able to get as close as possible could. This is one of the aspects that I like about mural expeditions, I feel like I'm looking for a lost treasure and sometimes you have to go into wooded areas with potential dangers lurking ha ha.

Without a doubt, what I loved the most about this mural were the colors and the context about journalism. It is a pity that it is in such a secluded and practically abandoned area, given that the kind of park where it is located is not in good condition. It is enough to see the extended undergrowth to corroborate it. I hope that doesn't end up affecting the mural more, since it can hardly be seen (unless you go into the bush like me haha). Then we had to withdraw, since there were many pests around due to the already mentioned weed factor. Hopefully the area will be chosen for maintenance work, as has happened with other abandoned parks in the city. There are a lot of trees and vegetation, so I think it would be a great place to spend the afternoon and get some fresh air. And why not? Contemplate this magnificent mural.

I'm not sure, but I think that this was the movement or group in charge of making the mural, since it is the first drawing and it seems to me that it is an artistic name or something like that hehe:

¡Hola a todos los a cazadores de murales! Me gustaría unirme a ésta ronda #158 del concurso semanal de arte callejero, con uno de los hallazgos más impresionantes que he hecho en la ciudad de Barquisimeto (Venezuela). Dicho mural se encuentra ubicado en la zona Este de la ciudad, en una zona que no suelo transitar. Mi novio fue el que me comentó acerca del mismo y me preguntó que si quería acercarme a verlo personalmente... y me llevé una grata sorpresa.

Todas las fotografías adjuntas a ésta publicación corresponden a un mismo muro. Así es, a lo largo de una pared extensa, se encuentran unas series de dibujos coloridos que pienso que representan el periodismo, pues nos encontramos con rostros de camarógrafos preparados para capturar una escena (que vendría siendo el espectador mismo), una máquina de escribir, en representación de las transcripciones de las noticias, diferentes medios de transmisión de las noticias, como el periódico, la televisión y ruedas de prensa, entre otros elementos.

Se me hizo imposible obtener una fotografía del muro por completo, dado a lo extenso que era y a la alta vegetación. Precisamente esto último, también impidió que tomase fotografías de frente de algunos dibujos, ya que tenía miedo de que apareciera algún animal oculto como una serpiente ja ja Por suerte, llevaba mis botas para la lluvia y gracias a ellas, pude internarme lo más cerca que pude. Éste es uno de los aspectos que me gustan de las expediciones de murales, me siento como en busca de un tesoro perdido y en ocasiones, hay que internarse en zonas boscosas con potenciales peligros al acecho ja ja

Sin lugar a dudas, lo que más me encantó de éste mural fueron los colores y el contexto sobre el periodismo. Es una lástima que se encuentre en una zona tan apartada y prácticamente abandonada, dado que la especie de parque en donde se encuentra, no está en buenas condiciones. Basta con ver la maleza extendida para corroborarlo. Espero que eso no termine por afectar más al mural, ya que apenas se puede ver (a menos que te internes en el monte como yo jaja). Luego tuvimos que retirarnos, ya que habían muchas plagas alrededor por el factor maleza ya mencionado. Ojalá que la zona sea escogida para una labor de mantenimiento, como han ocurrido con otros parques abandonados de la ciudad. Hay muchos árboles y vegetación, así que pienso que sería un excelente lugar para pasar la tarde y adquirir un poco de aire fresco ¿Y cómo no? Contemplar éste magnífico mural.

No estoy segura, pero pienso que éste fue el movimiento o grupo encargado de realizar el mural, ya que se trata del primer dibujo y me parece que es un nombre artístico o algo así je je:
