On Chain Personal Targets for 2023: Mid Year Review

Greetings, everyone!

Passing through the middle of the year, triggered me to spend some time for a retrospective, and to prepare an update on my Crypto Targets for 2023.

This year I decided to focus on a smaller amount of topics that are in my area of influence, although I have an target for the overall value of my crypto holdings, which definitely is influenced my the market.

The overall picture is a mixed one, with overachievements in some areas, and big room for improvements on others:

But let's take them one by one, and go a bit in details...

HIVE:

Hive Power is the blood of everything happening here on the chain. I started the year with an ambitious target, and this is the point where I'm mostly disappointment about my progress. I'm well behind my schedule, and this needs a push. Fortunate, I was able to get my hands on about 6000 HIVE from an exchange, using money from another successful endeavor. But for the moment I'm keeping this liquid at the exchange, as I'm still looking for the best way to use it.

Genesis League Sports:

GLX was the big buzz at the beginning of the year, and expectation were high for a new game that had potential to bring lot of passionate players to the HIVE chain. For this reason I decided to constantly increase my stake, and today I even have a bit of advance compared to my original plan. Unfortunate the game is yet not available, and I'm seriously asking my self if this was indeed a good idea. For the time being I will continue to add stake on this token, but I'm also looking for an exit strategy, as I'm sure that I will not have time for a new game.

Splinterlands:

My plan was to keep my SPS stake constant for the whole year, but the recent changes targeting the utility of the SPS token made me to change my plans for the second half of 2023. I will stop selling SPS, and I will add my stake on my existing 80K. Expectation is that soon we will have Soulkeep going live, and with this, and increased demand for SPS.

Actifit:

Actifit is a very interesting project, being one of the very few ones adding a bridge between the chain and the real-life. Long story short, people are rewarded for being physically active, and sharing their progress and stories on the HIVE chain. The Actifit Ranking is an important parameter for those rewards, and a score for personal contribution to the project. I'm happy with my progress, and I expect this month to have a strong push of my rank. Yes, I can be more active in this project, and I have a tone of reasons to take this more seriously for the rest of the year.

Rising Star:

This game is another success story. It doesn't stop to impress me with the stability of their token, and with the popularity of their NFTs. The game is continuously experimenting with new functionalities, and my interest is as high as in the early days.

Curation:

Curation Rewards is the weak point of my behavior on the chain. I'm not capitalizing on my invest in HIVE Power and I'm wasting precious resources. Big red flag, and a must for a change!

Liquidity:

During these first six months, I gave a lot of attention to my Liquidity Ratio. I started the year with a very small percentage, and I knew the importance of liquidity for upcoming opportunities. Now I reached an impressive 25.64%, and a call for myself for looking more active on invest opportunities. A major part is now in BTC, which I will not like to touch for the time being. Everything else...

Portfolio:

I don't feel comfortable to have full transparency about the value of my crypto portfolio, and for this reason the numbers will remain hidden. But the current progress is very good: 52% already achieved, from a very ambitious objective.
