HIVE Pump: A Story of Liquidity

Greetings, everyone!

Short time ago, we experienced (again) a HIVE Pump which lasted about twenty hours. This was not really a surprise, as we have seen it before the the recent past. But once again, a lesson about the importance of liquidity.

For those following me, I have a personal objective to keep the liquidity of my crypto portfolio at 10%. Why? Exactly to opportunities like this one:

To prepare for the Hive Power Up Day, in the evening of January 31st, I bought 1197 HIVE at a very good exchange rate (0.3912 USD/HIVE). I went with a personal record for the Power Up (1100 HIVE), and I kept the small amount for unexpected opportunities. As I was not disciplined about my 10% liquidity target, my options were limited this time. I've sold the liquid 97 HIVE at a record rate, and this way I added some Satoshi to my savings account (HIVE was trading at 0.59 USD/HIVE at that time).

For me it was a small win.
Imagine now doing the same with a 100x multiplier.
A different game, isn't it?

My focus of the last days was to improve my liquidity, and now I'm carefully planning my entry point. How about you? Do you have any specific plans for such situations?

I bought up around $545 worth of Hive @ 0.41 was expecting to sit on it but I sold up @ 0.56, too good of an opportunity to miss! awaiting to see if it'll reach back down to the 0.42 mark and I can re-buy in with my newly founded profits 😅

It was a nice pump, and did you also catch the HBD pump earlier in the week ? Like @dubble, I'm also hoping it will go back to about the $0.42 mark before selling HBD back - but so far its holdni gat about the $0.45 mark. We'll see what happens !
