My Actifit Report Card and Update: May 9 2024

Hi Everyone,

I’m back with another Actifit Report and Update. I’ve had another busy week pounding the keyboard pumping out chapters for my next Sapien Loop book. Feels like I have some momentum at the moment so I’m going to keep going. Feels like the story is coming together nicely. Plenty of twists and turns as more about the new characters is revealed.

The weather here has improved. It is warmer and dryer than previous months but there is still enough moisture for the grass to grow. In the thumbnail, I included a picture of Hamlet the happy pig’s and Lily goat’s area. It might not be too obvious from the picture, but the grass is beginning to break through. Both Hamlet and Lily prefer grass over mud. Funny considering that Hamlet is a pig. She doesn’t want to follow the stereotype. She is quite special.

I briefly took time off the book to publish the results of my monthly Sapien Loop quiz. Nobody managed to answer all the questions correctly this time, but a good effort was made by several of the participants. I have increased the difficulty of the quiz. I think I have it around the right standard now. However, I think I need to increase the period for participants to respond, 5 days is a little short. I’ll increase it for this month’s quiz. I aim to attract more than 12 participants. If I could do it with the economics contests, I should be able to with the Sapien Loop quizzes.

My struggle to promote and sell Sapien Loop continues. It is hard to get noticed. I’m advertising again on Amazon and I will be giving the book away for free from Friday to Sunday. Double promotion. I’ll also be pushing the book harder on social media. That’s difficult as my reach is very limited. Shadow bans have hurt. I mostly use X but it is a heavily censored platform. Not everywhere is like Hive. X is still better than Facebook, Instagram, and the others. That’s not surprising since they set the bar so low.

That wraps up today’s shorter than usual Actifit Report and Update. I expect to post just one post again next week. It should be an interesting one so keep an eye out for it. I wish everyone an awesome end to the week as well as weekend.
