Contest results and making cannabutter

@stekene is the winner, guessing within 17 grams of the actual weight. Their guess was 385 grams and my harvest weight was 368 grams. That is 0.85 pounds which is over 100 grams more than my last harvest. I think giving them more water was responsible for this. Buying a moisture meter to measure the soil seems to be worth it. And I found myself watering them almost every day at one point. Hopefully I can close in on that 1 pound mark eventually.

I have sent you the 10 Hive for being the winner of the Guess the weight of the Sour Diesel.

Making cannabutter with the trim

The more byproduct by far is the trim produced when cleaning up the buds. I had enough to fill two casserole dishes. And got to decarboxylating them.

I place the trim in the oven at a low temp for around 45 minutes, this activates the THC for consumption by eating. Otherwise it would not work.

Putting two ounces of trim in this will make one spoon full of butter quite potent.

As it cools it will turn green and be ready to eat. I just put it on a spoon and eat it quickly. I find this is the best way to consume it for myself as I do not like the taste. So putting it in foods makes me gag more. But just taking a spoonful seems to be easier.

So what do I think of it? I give it a big thumbs up! and again congrats to the winner of the guess the weight @stekene great guess there.

That is why I do not participate in this type of contest, I am always far from reality, my congratulations to the winner. Well done
How good it is to see that the crop grows each season, especially if the reason is in the water in the soil.
Congratulations dear friend @solominer for the success in the harvest
Have a great day

Taking part in contest is not about winning. It's about increasing your engagement with people, and supporting those who make the effort to host the contest to drive up activity on Hive and make it a fun place. Don't be blinded by whether you win or not

What you say is very true, contests are a good way to make people interact with each other, and thus grow commitment through comments
May you enjoy a beautiful night, and happy rest.

Nice! Too bad it doesn't taste better! But as long as it gives you that nice THC buzz that's what counts!

Congratulations to @stekene on the win!

I think that butter looks like some super potent stuff @solominer. I usually eat mine raw, not adding to food, and with some coffee or something to avoid the gag.
We could expand and cook some things with it though maybe :D

Yeah man glad he won.

Ah okay yeah I prefer to just eat it raw too. I have a cup of water next to me when eating is as I have to wash it down quick.

Every time I put it in food it was way harder for me to eat I find.

Thanks.. so true it's hard to make the guess as buds can be quite dense or airy. So it's hard to say.

To help with the shit taste try to find ways to add Vanilla to it. I usually do cookies or cupcakes but anything worth Vanilla helps
