INCREDIBLY DISARRAYED (LOH CONTEST #153)

What is the most annoying mannerism or trait that a man or partner has that I wish he could get rid of or change? Laughing out loud, I have no man in my life at the moment—not partners, though—maybe potential partners.

In the past, while I was in my first relationship, I wished Simon was neater. He had a way of making his room incredibly disarrayed, even though I had cleared it up an hour earlier. It actually pissed me off, and it frustrated my efforts. There are times I visit and meet days of stacked-up, unwashed dishes in the kitchen, and I dislike washing dishes. I hated the whole dirt thing, and I spent so much time cleaning the room and fumigating because of roaches. You would be amazed to know that he actually bathes well and smells nice; his room is just something else, and he also needed to brush his teeth more often.

My second boyfriend should have been honest. He lied and fabricated stories, which, when I tried to confirm later, he wouldn't remember ever fabricating such stories. He should have defended me instead of supporting those who discuss and judge me without even knowing me. He shouldn’t have tried making me feel like an idiot too, as most times I just want peace rather than fights and all that drama.

As for current potential partners, I wish T. would just call more often. I like talking to him more often than not. We are far apart and are barely seeing each other anymore.

And also, M. should keep expressing himself but worry less about what I think, so I can actually start to really like him. If he was doing something wrong, I believe I would speak up. Asking questions at every turn ruins the moment.

Hey readers, I hope you enjoyed reading this post. See you in the comments!

Hahaha, this made me laugh out loud too, especially about your ex. Thank goodness you are not with each other anymore. I mean, sorry to say that but I believe it's a breather for you too, lol!

Thanks for sharing and best of luck to you on your current potential partners 😉

Each of us has a list of non-negotiable aspects in a relationship and I think the best thing to do is to stick to that list and leave aside those who do not meet our expectations, because sooner or later, the magic ends and we end up not putting up with them.

Greetings.

I was just laughing reading this. I don't like dirtiness too, I love guys that are neat outside and inside. Likewise a lying partner needs to change. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Chai a guy that smells nice but his room is incredibly disarrayed is something o. You even tried to be cleaning up after him, I don't think I would be that generous. Well I could once in a long while but not on a daily basis.

These potential partners are hilarious but to be candid no one is perfect. You just have to focus on their strengths rather than their weakness and go for a partner whose ego is not inflated and that can be understanding of you. Cheers
