Gobalano Soldier -Splinterlands Art Contest Week 342

Hi My All Friends!

I am really excited to participate in the Splinterlands Art Contest for Week 342! This week, I am submitting my hand-drawn color pencil & watercolor painting of Gobalano Soldier, a fanart piece inspired by a Splinterlands game card.

I had a great time creating this artwork and bringing this Playful Gobalano Soldiern to life with color pencil & watercolors. I hope you all like it!

Gobalano Soldier

The ash goblins of the Gobalano Family are never ones to pass up an opportunity to throw their weight around and make some easy coin. So when the Chaos Empire laid claim to the Splinterlands, the Gobalano were quick to cast their lot with them.

Soon thereafter, the family spread its operations across Praetoria, infesting the major cities like cockroaches. Soldiers are the Gobalano's enforcers when it comes to tax collection, intimidation, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, and other profitable business ventures.

Steps in the Process of Creating My Artwork: Gobalano Soldier
Here are the steps I followed to create my pencil color & watercolor painting of Possessed Puppet :

Gather Your Materials like...

1.Watercolor paper
2.Color Pencil
3.Watercolor paints
4.Brushes (small and medium-sized)
5.Water cup
6.Paper towel
7.Pencil for sketching

Here are the Steps in the Process for creating this artwork:

Sketching –

Started with a rough pencil sketch to define the Gobalano Soldier character’s pose and proportions.

Base Colors –

Applied initial water color layers, focusing on vibrant tones for the orc’s skin, hair, and hand .

Shading & Highlights - Added depth with darker tones and highlights to enhance the character's form and make it stand out.

Final Touches – Refined edges, adjusted contrast, and added details to bring the artwork to life.
