Ladies of Hive Community Contest #174 - How much I love the sunset

This week, I remembered to participate in this fantastic contest and contribute my thoughts. I must say, the first question is challenging to answer, or we can say it's quite philosophical. In reality, in the places I've visited or during vacations, my favorite moment is the sunset. Do you know why?

In the morning, I'm a sleepyhead, so I rarely wake up early to see a sunrise. It might happen occasionally during work when I have to leave a bit early, but honestly, in the morning, I always try to get some more sleep, so I somewhat miss the sunrise moment. This holds true even when I'm on vacation, so it's a bit of a flaw of mine.

As I mentioned, I prefer the sunset because I consider it a very romantic moment. Also, sunsets are never the same, unlike sunrises. Sometimes, I enjoy taking photos of sunsets, like the one I shared with you, taken in the countryside near my home. I am quite attached to this photo because it reminds me of home, and many times, due to work-related reasons, I am often away from home.

So, if I ever find a boyfriend, I really hope he accompanies me for a drink with a beautiful sunset in the background – that's truly my favorite moment!

Regarding the second question, I was actually born in January, so I wasn't born on February 29. I noticed that it's a leap year. I mainly keep track of the calendar for work-related reasons. According to beliefs and traditions, even in Italy, it seems that leap years usually bring a bit of bad luck. Considering the previous leap year with the pandemic, I must say I'm not at ease at all. I'm not someone who believes much in these things, but sincerely, I hope it's a good year. So far, it's been quite positive for me at the beginning, with only a few health issues that I resolved fairly quickly. Of course, I've thought several times about what if I were born on the 29th; I know a friend who practically celebrates her birthday on the 28th, or else it would be a problem.
