Sorry I Wish You Cheated Goodbye Memories
Introduction
Here I am back again sharing my #threetunetuesday playlist for the contest hosted by ablaze. Songs are chosen from different backgrounds so I hope you like it!
#1. I Wish You Cheated - Alexander Stewart
The first song I chose was I Wish You Cheated by Alexander Stewart. I found this song recently from Youtube because it was recommended to me. This song is super new; it came out like 6 days ago as I'm writing this post. I got totally hooked into this song. There's a lot of emotion in the lyrics and the vocals by Alexander is amazing.
The song is about the feeling of what happened after the relationship ended. The guy is anxious and sad which is confirmed in the intro of the lyrics. The guy did something wrong and the girl did nothing wrong. It was probably the best relationship he had and he ruined it. It's hard for him to move on because I think he regrets his actions. He wishes that there was something that he could fault her for so it would be easier for him to move on but he can't. That's why he wish she would have cheated on him.
#2. Sayonara Memory - 7!!
The second song chosen was Sayonara Memory by 7!! also known as 7 oops which is kind of a cute band name. I got to know this song from an anime called Naruto. It's one of the animes that I actually finished from Naruto to Naruto Shippuden; I watched like every episode except some of the fillers. I like the upbeat feeling of this song even though the lyrics are a bit sad.
I'm not too sure about the meaning of this song. Based on the lyrics, my interpretation would be that we have good and bad memories. The song is about letting go of the bad memories and focusing on the present. We need to create the great experiences now and just live in the moment.
#3. Sorry - The Rose
Finally, the last song chosen was Sorry by The Rose. I'm not too sure where I came across this song. The Rose is a kpop group composed of 4 guys. I would categorize this towards an emo love song a bit. I like the meaning of this song as well as the vocal and bgm.
This song is about a guy walking away from the girl. There's no clear indication in the lyrics why other than that he was "selfish". He might have chosen something over the girl so he feels bad. That's why he's "sorry". He regrets not turning around and going for the girl to help her or be there for her etc. This is pretty much what the song is about.

"I wish you cheated." Hah, that definitely would have been one way to get out of a relationship alright, perhaps with less feelings of guilt. Despite the theme of the song, it really was fun to listen to.

Sorry - The Rose remnds me of something. I think it might be a Coldplay song that the music sounds very similar to. Good to have you rocking out three of your favourites for #ttt again this week man, and a nice mixed bag too, but I'd know they were your choices just by listening to them, they are right up your street.
hmmm a coldplay song that's an interesting comparison. Ya i always sharing three songs~. everybody be sharing and letting all hear new music . Hmmm right up my street I guess I will have to find ways to be more unexpected and outside of what you think my street is hehe
