My name is @Sessy, and this week I'll be performing Egwu by Chike and the late Mohbad, God rest his soul.
If you've heard any of Chike's songs, you'll know that he's a talented young artist, his voice is so melodious and so pleasing to the hear, and Imole (Mohbad)? Oh my, that young man would be blooming by now if only he was still alive...
He made so many amazing songs, sadly, he's light only shinned after his death, his name Imole which meant light didn't manifest in his lifetime.
May we not die untimely, and ultimately, may we not die before our glory shines as bright as it should.
Death is inevitable and we're all going to die someday, the most important thing is to live as though there's no tomorrow.

Overall, Egwu is a very beautiful song, it's such an amazing thing to have both Chike and Mohbad in one song😍✨

It's so sad that I didn't even know him while he was alive, except when dead. I do hear his songs those times but never knew he was the one cos it usually sounded like Naira Marley's song.
