I remember writing a review about this show, I gave it a lot of words and points why I like it, I also remember calling the action and fight the major showstopper for the anime, because in my mind that's what kept it afloat.
Well that was what I thought until I watched the latest volume 9.

RWBY VOLUME 9

Plot.

After the tragic and distressful events of volume 8 last battle, Ruby and her team finds themselves in a rather disturbing land and strange land, the Ever After.
After a bit of exploration, they realize that this land wasn't so strange after all, having been read bedtime stories of it since they were kids, they recognized the new people and characters seen.
While trying to find a way back home, they quickly find out that this land is really nothing like what was portrayed in the stories.

This volume of RWBY is unlike what has been shown before, fighting minimal but exploration and storytelling at it's peak.
It was clear from the start what this volume was for, it was a middle point volume, a volume to educate, and give both us and our main characters points about self to mull over.
It had 3 Majorly great points to note.

1. The World Building

As always, RWBY never fails with it's world building.
Being an anime that is entirely dependent on its fantasy, we've been to magical looking cities and/or destinations before, yet this in and of itself was just pure gold.
The concept of a fairytale coming to life was marvelous and the animation in helping this concept was great too.
Every scene is a wonder, with lots of colors and tricks, the eyes are never bored.

2. The Lore

This in and of itself for me was the most enjoyable aspect of this season.
It comes in full play at the later episodes, when Ruby was in conversation with The Great Tree. _{This conversation also gave me a great piece of material in my latest story}
It was quite a lovely experience, while listening, you'll notice that the general plot of the story goes more tham fantasy.
We enter the philosophical, psychological and magical ream on how one sees the world.
"Is evil really bad and is good really good?"
"Why are humans the one to dictate harmony, when it's a natural cause?"
So many thoughts come into both the main character and the show viewers head on what is really right and which way to go.

3. Character Development.

The character development for some of the characters in this show was massive, with Ruby finally feeling in and progressing pass the fear of her clearly huge and heavy destiny, to Yin and Blake's budding love interest.
Every character had a huddle to face and it was enlightening watching how they passed it.

Overall Review

It was clear that this Ever After Arc, wasn't meant to be a big one, what with having even fewer episode than the regularly small 13 episodes per volume.
Regardless this arc is the one that had the biggest impact on the show.
I take it somewhat as the turning point of the full story, as now our heroes are energized and prepared mentally to fully fight back the grim and evil of Salem.
It's a lovely show, and I wait eagerly for the volume 10.

RWBY VOLUMEN 9

Trama.

Después de los trágicos y angustiosos acontecimientos de la última batalla del volumen 8, Ruby y su equipo se encuentran en una tierra bastante inquietante y extraña, el Ever After.
Después de un poco de exploración, se dan cuenta de que esta tierra no era tan extraña después de todo, después de haberles leído cuentos antes de dormir desde que eran niños, reconocieron a las nuevas personas y personajes que vieron.
Mientras intentan encontrar un camino de regreso a casa, rápidamente descubren que esta tierra en realidad no se parece en nada a lo que se describe en las historias.

Este volumen de RWBY es diferente a lo que se ha mostrado antes, con una lucha mínima pero con exploración y narración en su punto máximo.
Estaba claro desde el principio para qué era este volumen, era un volumen de punto medio, un volumen para educar y darnos a nosotros y a nuestros personajes principales puntos sobre nosotros mismos para reflexionar.
Tenía 3 puntos importantes a tener en cuenta.

1. La construcción del mundo

Como siempre, RWBY nunca falla en la construcción de su mundo.
Al ser un anime que depende completamente de su fantasía, hemos estado antes en ciudades y/o destinos de aspecto mágico, pero esto en sí mismo era oro puro.
El concepto de un cuento de hadas cobrando vida fue maravilloso y la animación que ayudó a este concepto también fue genial.
Cada escena es una maravilla, con muchos colores y trucos, los ojos nunca se aburren.

2. La tradición

Esto en sí mismo para mí fue el aspecto más divertido de esta temporada.
Aparece en pleno juego en los episodios posteriores, cuando Ruby estaba conversando con The Great Tree. _{Esta conversación también me brindó un gran material en mi última historia}
Fue una experiencia bastante encantadora, mientras escuchas, notarás que la trama general de la historia va más que la fantasía.
Entramos en el ámbito filosófico, psicológico y mágico de cómo uno ve el mundo.
"¿Es el mal realmente malo y el bien realmente bueno?"
"¿Por qué son los humanos quienes dictan la armonía, cuando es una causa natural?"
Tanto el personaje principal como los espectadores del programa tienen muchos pensamientos sobre lo que es realmente correcto y qué camino tomar.

3. Desarrollo del carácter.

El desarrollo del personaje de algunos de los personajes de este programa fue enorme, y Ruby finalmente sintió y progresó pasando el miedo de su destino claramente enorme y pesado al incipiente interés amoroso de Yin y Blake.
Cada personaje tenía un grupo al que enfrentarse y fue esclarecedor ver cómo lo superaban.

Revisión general

Estaba claro que este arco de Ever After no estaba destinado a ser grande, ya que tenía incluso menos episodios que los 13 episodios por volumen que normalmente son pequeños.
Independientemente, este arco es el que tuvo el mayor impacto en el programa.
Lo tomo en cierto modo como el punto de inflexión de toda la historia, ya que ahora nuestros héroes están llenos de energía y preparados mentalmente para luchar por completo contra la oscuridad y la maldad de Salem.
Es un espectáculo encantador y espero ansiosamente el volumen 10.
